It's Phenomenal to think that this is made on a Commodore 64. It's a truly amazing machine and one that always continues to surprise :) thank you for creating this to whomever uploaded the video.
Not sure if there are even more than the normal 16 colors on screen at once (someone correct me if wrong), but for sure there is plenty of color palette cycling going on so. Of course there is one or another coding trick applied to static pictures in this demo like FLI and the likes.
@@NahMagic These guys are brilliant !!!..i cant imagine my 64/128 doing all this stuff 30 years ago.......they need to sit down and re-strategize to start making things that are useful for the commdore scene and make money out of it...i mean they know the insides of the machines better than the engineers who designed them for god's sake. They need to get together with game developers and use these animation / graphics techniques to make some kick ass games....and monetize off of it...maybe start a kick start program for each game...and see how many will donate...(i will for sure !!!) then make application that may be useful in the real world...like mail clients..chat clients....now that we have devices like the ultimate II+ and other implementations of it.....the way i see it, these machines can still be used as display systems at malls and shops and maybe even airport and railway stations....etc....
i wish i could attend some demo-parties someday...just as a guest. watching this and hearing the audience cheer for it feels so cool.

Yes, I second that. Freely chosable angles for rasterbars are impossible. So this has to be something else. I'm fully baffled. 👍🙏

@@TRX303 Some of the colours didnt seem like C64 colours...like some dark red's and darks blues...
