    These old school lights are such a minimalist setup, cool tho but you barely see it's a cop car from front except the wig wag. At night in your rearview mirror the steady burn blend with other red lights of the trafic

      A sheriff in America actual will have Ford to make them custom crown vics for the officers to use. And no they are not not getting sold to the public they are only getting built for the sheriff. And no the car still does not come with cup holders

    Nice catch! Love seeing the old Vics. That one looks like an 03-05 judging by the wheels. That’s awesome it’s still in service! As for lights, the forward lighting is really bad, seems the wig wags do all the work. Not much else up front.

    i am happy about that, that Crown Victoria is probably 20 Years in service and they didn't changed/upgraded the Siren and the Emergency Light ( EES Coplite ) and even retiring the Car. It just give me Nostalgic feelings 😌😊

    The steady red light would be so confusing to me, I'd actually be hesitant to pull over cos I'd think it's someone impersonating a cop

      Don’t drive in CA then. That is very common on police vehicles, and the law. On the highways it is also very common for CHP to shut down all lighting while on a traffic stop on the shoulder just keeping the single steady red to the front lit.

      Amber&blue* amber is probably what today we would call traffic advisory, a warning for vehicles approaching from behind. Don't know about blue, probably just to signify a police vehicle.

      The cars are so old and the sun worns out the blue tint making it look green,it also makes the amber lights look more like a light yellow and the red lights look a little bit pinkish

      It's required under law in California from what I understand. It gets run but usually as part of a lightbar on newer vehicles now so it's less noticeable than the old Coplite here.

In strict stupid Europe, we are the country that dont have any ban on something like that, and now i am reading that Hi-Lo tone is illegal in california? Why is that?

      @@bosko2435 People throw around the term "Illegal" a lot. It is not illegal per se but simply not recognized as a siren tone. Meaning if an emergency responder uses Hi-lo and gets in an accident they can be liable for it since it is not recognized as a tone for emergencies unlike Wail or Yelp.

      Hi lo and priority are different. Priority is allowed for normal Code 3 runs, hi lo can only be used for evacuations.
