I really like how much Legend of Mana DNA this track has in it. We remember Shimomura for her use of violins, but there was alot of fun to her starting out as a metal gal.
I was looking for a place to hide and then saw the mast. Stood there for a sec and then remembered the Squid monster easily rip that down and was like F it im'a shoot him!
I wouldn't "just" say heavy metal. If you listen closely to it - this REALLY, REALLY sound like a blazblue ost; you can even hear some riffs that sound VERY "daisuke ishiwatari"-esques in it! . A blazblue ost in which you add a few mana instruments here and there so it still makes it "kind of different". It was absolutely fascinating, and I loved it, very fitting. And yeah, the benevodon battle and themes are awesome in this game. Feels good to finally have a REAL modern mana game, not counting the remake, because damn of mana was... well, dawn of mana.
If you tried this game or series and got real confused. It’s suppose to be a fairy tale that’s told within the final fantasy universe(multiverse), it being tone deaf is on purpose and is one of the franchises best qualities.
@@nesoukkefka1741 same but at the same time this it’s before you have all the elemental vessels and their powers so the only way you’d realistically stand a chance against a benevodon is with heavy weaponry
This song is amazing but I feel it's kinda wasted on this fight. It's a cool spectacle, but it's also just _way too much_ waiting around for the boss to move back into range of the stupid canons, over and over. I think their intention was for the trash mobs he spawns to take longer to deal with but between the Vessels and your AoE skills by that point, they don't take long to defeat at all lol. So this fight was just a lot of me running in circles and _waiting_ .

This fight definitely had shades of GranBlue because of the cannon usage. Lol So awesome. ❤❤
This scene and the music, I thought I was playing Ys
As an YS fan this game is just turning into a Square version of YS7
I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking that.
@@JigglysaintThe Benevodons are just the ancient dragons and Daelaphos is literally just Scias lol
You can actually survive his big final charge attack even on hard mode which is honestly kinda funny.

If you have the wind vessel, the cool down of the cannon is shorter.

Sounds like a Tenkaichi Budokai ost so cool!
Is there any new Flammi music? This song sounds great. If you have any, please upload it. Thank you.
@@yolinwang2952 there is a new theme for Flammi yes. Vuscav has the same song as older games just with updated instruments

Such a good theme, kinda wish the boss fight itself was better however.

It’s more fun on hard mode where Garethe is way more aggressive but yeah I get ya
This boss really set a heavy standard for the rest of the benevedons, nothing lived up to how epic this fight was.
