Tim this looks fantastic and it happens to be that I have all of the ingredients. So I guess I have to give it a try. Let's see if I dust of those bottles and start stirring. :@) Thanks my friend for this one. Cheers!
This sounds very interesting. I need to try some cocktails made with Laphroaig. The smokiness seems like it would work well with a steak or other meat grilled over charcoal. Thanks for another great cocktail, Tim!
PAUL!! Laphroaig is sooooo good in cocktails!! To me, it actually tastes sweet, smoky and salty at the same time!! Damn good neat as well. BBQ season sippers??? CHEERS to you my good friend!!
TIM!!! This is right up my street!!!! You had me at peat!!! Love it so much!!!I I have Byrrh!!! It's very interested for flavours!! You rock my friend!! Have an awesome St. Patrick's Day!! I will be making this beauty for sure!! 🙂
CHRISTINE!!!! I was thinking about you when I made this!!! I'm glad you have Byrrh, so you're golden!!! Byrrh is such an amazing aperitif!!! CHEERS and happy Friday to you my good friend!!!
@@TheSpiritoftheCocktail That's so kind TIM!!! You know my style of cocktails!! This is exciting!! I can't wait to make this beauty!! Fabulous ingredients!! Have an amazing weekend!! Cheers!! 🙂
Oh things sounds very different from other cocktails I have tried. I can't find that Byrrh in my area. so on my hunt list when I travel. sounds like another winner. thanks for sharing. cheers PS is there a #2 coming soon?
DOC!!! Byrrh is unlike anything I've tasted. The closest thing might be Punt e Mes, but it isn't as fruity. I hope you can find some!! You'll love this cocktail!!! I'm not sure if there's a number 2, but we need to figure that out!!! CHEERS my brother!!!
TIM!! I officially have to pick up a nice bottle of blended scotch to try this out. For whatever reason, scotch cocktails have been all over my feed lately lol. To quote the movie “Road to El Dorado,” gotta dazzle em with some smoke and mirrors and get the hell back to Spain! Great work tim! Cheers!
MICHAEL!!! That is a great quote!!! Grab some Monkey Shoulder and get to mixing!!! Scotch is one of my fav spirits, and you CAN'T make a Rusty Nail without it!! I also hope you can find some Byrrh. To me, the ultimate aperitif!!! CHEERS to you my brother!!!
I'm trying this one. I don't have Byrrh though. I'm curious if regular vermouth or perhaps Dubonnet would be a reasonable substitute, or should I wait until I get the right thing?
ROB!! If possible, wait!! Byrrh has a very distinctive flavor. Punt e Mes is a decent sub, but it's not as fruity. The quinine gives it a level of bitterness that plays with the fruits in there. You'll love this if you like peated whisky!! CHEERS to you my friend!!
@@TheSpiritoftheCocktail Dubonnet has quinine which is why I thought of it, and I do have Punt e Mes. Guess I just need to head on over the the liquor store :)
Sounds very delicious and interesting
STEPHANE!!! This Byrrh situation has to be DEALT WITH!! You'll love this sipper for sure!! CHEERS my brother!!!
Like this drink 👍
CHAPPY!!! Yeah, this is def one to sip on!! CHEERS to you!!!
Anything with Benedictine immediately gets my attention! Need to score some Byrhh. Cheers my brother!
VINO!!! If you like Laphroaig, you'll dig this!!! Fruity, smokey with a slight bitterness!! CHEERS to you my brother!!!
I was quite dissapointed without a Tim video yesterday... Now I can end the week on a great note!
ICEMAN!!! I can assure yo that I will NOT lower my standards!! I need to make up for failing to produce yesterday!!!
@@TheSpiritoftheCocktail you need some Coach Vino words of wisdom... Where he would say something like you were just practicing for today
