Got mine a few months ago. Paid $56 shipped. More than happy with it. I use it in a guest computer that I keep around the house. Not really intending it for gaming, but good to know it can still handle most titles. Can't be beat the value and price.

buddy its a 8GB DDR5 256 BIT card performance are not as good as the specs are or maybe Screen recording caused the fps drop whats ur opinion because i have gtx 970 54gb it gives around about 70+ fps in GTA V

no fps loss when recording via capture card. overclock and fsr can help reach near 60 fps on 580.

With 8gb ram I still get over 100fps. You need a good gpu for this game and the 580 does it well
I'm playing ratchet and clank at around 50-60 fps medium grpahics fsr quality. That game uses all of the 8GB vram it's so freakin nice
Does r5 1400 make a bottleneck ? Just upgraded this from rx 460 2gb, and for me the performance didnt increase a lot as expected. If thats because cpu, is upgrading to r5 5600 make huge diff or just make another bottleneck ?

Bought a Soyo RX 580 2048SP 8 GB, Adrenaline drivers crashed and got permanent no signal (turned off screen), anyone had the same issue and how it got fixed?
@@ZodiakAsHell My card worked great with the first Adrenaline version I installed, however after the update a similar thing happened to me. Fortunately, I saved the first version of the drivers. I uninstalled the new drivers and reinstalled the old ones, so everything is now ok. Adrenaline version 23.9.2 works properly on my graphics card, so maybe you can try it.

@@Adarskie then theers something fishy with either temp controls , settings or ou didnt reinstall the driver cleanly. as the 470 has rev 1 of the polaris chip also 2048 SP otherwise they run the IDENTICAL die as the 580 2048 SP ( except the bios / driver defaults per powerstage can differ in clocks per temp / powertarget ). Which also comes down to die quality ( lower quality = better OC - higher leakage -> more heat ). Higher quality less leakage less oc potential but higher efficiency -> theese are where UV + slight OC makes absolute wonders. Been tinkering with like 12 diff of theese Polaris cards now - their a legend to tinker with as driver and most schematics are also now available. pretty fun with some mods and the newer gddr5 you could make a 16 or even 32 GB version from theese - which actually could be fun for rendering or stuff like stablediffusion.

depends on your usage, both are not good for futureproofing, rx 580 2048 are generally refurbished and provide only 1 year warranty. i would say if possible go with at least radeon rx 6600.

2048sp is the nerfed version of rx580, oh wait... your gpu clock frequency is very low compare to a regular rx580 which is around 1260 I guess.. my oc card running at 1450 with the factory setting by the way.

I have a pair of Xeon 5160s driving a 7850 right now and am about to upgrade to this card. Since it is PCIe 1.1, the 16 lanes provided by this baby are going to be much more capable than the lousy 4/8 provided by modern PCIe 4 mid-range AMD GPUs.
