It’s cool but I’m pretty sure 1:21 is supposed to be an auto-chicken farm in the movie, one of the ones that uses a group of chickens laying eggs into a hopper bringing them into a dispenser and throwing the eggs onto a slab right below lava so when the baby chickens grow up they immediately burn in lava, allowing a hopper to collect the cooked chicken.

Honestly I always thought the BEST way they could have done the movie, would have been for the movie to be a combination of the ACTUAL game and live action. Before finding the object it's life action, but once they enter the Overworld they change. Then they could have had a funny moment where one of them asks "HOW DO I EAT!!!" With Steve being all "Oh that's simple, just hold a piece of food up to your face" "That can't possibly work!" *Tries it with an apple* "It actually worked... Unbelievable"
Sure, when you see these videos, you wish the actual movie was like that, but the second trailer was much better. Based on the trailer, I think the team has come up with something good in the context of live action.
I mean the trailer isn't really a remake, the original was just a teaser. Half quoted from Google, usually a teaser is 30 seconds or less just to let viewers know that it exists, whereas trailers are 1-2 minutes long and are supposed to convince you to watch the movie.

Not many noticed but the blue portal is NOT the nether portal, you can see the ACTUAL purple portal in one of the shots so they didn’t mess up.
The blue one most likely connects the real world with the Minecraft world
