The book of John is in The New Testament, It's The Forth one: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. I Use The KJV and a Concordance Plus a Dictionary. You Will need The most Important: THE HOLY SPIRIT.
John as a kid, and the only truth of God comes from God alone, not from books of men! Books are to help study only, the relationship comes from KNOWING God is alive and He works in us! Understand He is in us, in us!
How do You Know GOD IS ALIVE? And books? What books are you talking about? Do you Know that No One Comes to Christ Except The Father Calls? Without The Blood of The Lamb, no one can Receive The Holy Spirit or Understand The Bible

I know because I can recognize Him in my life, by the way He works in my life, and by the way He works through others through me, I know My Shepherds voice for 52 years! And yeah, if you don't know Jesus you don't know the Father but I fortunately know them both, thank you Lied! And I hate to tell you this, you will not find Christ in a book, sorry! And you will never hear His voice from it either! Gods word is written in our hearts and minds, we need no book nor do we need a person to tell us or teach us nor guide us. We come to know them through our own personal lives, through pray, meditation, study, fasting, listening, watching but never by way of man!
