I'll echo previous sentiments, this is SO Darkthrone Soulside Journey, but it'ss a good thing. I'm quite bitter, being such a Swedeath head that this escaped me, I was listening back when it was fresh. Anyway, this sounds more like an extended Cromlech take, 2 songs in, even the key touches, the voice is SPOT ON Culto's. The blasts are really nice. THIS should've been Goatlord, LOL. Nice post,

Dismember's early albums have this feel also. You can try Disembowel who bring REMARKABLE ethereal and vicious feel but also add a heavy dose of SLOW song writing to the mix as well. Also (though they CRIMINALLY never got the attention) try Crematory (the SWEDEATH band not the German goth guys), their demo works are INfuckingsane for atmosphere, sinister riffing and these type vocals. Try Encyclopedia Metallum too, they give "Bands Like This One" feature when you look up a certain band, so that will help your searches. Cheers, Metal, Vodka, Fortune!

This is an absolute classic. It's a shame it was so rare upon it's original release. No other OSSDM band had blasts as hitting as them, when most other Swedes weren't really feeling that outside of Carbonized. Glad this masterpiece is getting it's long overdue day in the sun due to represses across formats, and the tubes. Also thoughts and prayers to the 16 dislikes.
These two comments are hilarious because they're clearly written by kids who just discovered old school death metal and think it's the greatest thing on earth, but probably don't realize metalcore has been around since the glory days of death metal and emo even longer (and that both genres in their prime were abrasive as fuck).

Just putting that in quotes because I know what kinds of bands you mean when you say -core or emo, but they're just really misused words.
