Amazing interpretation. Though couldn't get over the lyrical mix up. The look of the conductor when he fudges the 2nd verse opening lol.

No, he's not feeling ill -- he's doing it exactly as it should be done. The movement is a swan singing about his fate while being roasted on a spit. It's supposed to sound comically pathetic. Many tenors miss that point and sing it too operatically.

The fact they use a tenor instead of a countertenor really speaks to the intention. They want the strained falsetto. This performer was great.

I don't want to join the bullying, but he was very wrong. He confused the third verse with the second. In addition, I also mix sentences. The director was surprised and turned to look at him immediately, but nothing could be done. The orchestra also noticed. It's a shame because I liked his interpretation. I hope it hasn't affected his reputation.

This performance cannot cast the concert into shadow, even though it seems so.

Sorry but this singer is out of his depth.
Sounds like he's trying something "different" to compensate the fact that he simply can't sing this cantata

If you look carefully, you will see he is in the choir for the rest of the time - this is not usual, but is definitely true here. Also, how would you sing if you were being roasted and eaten? Its called acting, and is totally appropriate for this song.

This song is Male Chorus... Why Female Singing it?
