I love the lead vocal in here. Jeremy is really talented. This group is very talented. I don't know how people voted between Committed and Street Corner Symphony
I'm not sure why I can watch this and find that this video, placed here by mrduckbear11, can't be found with 175 million views versus 175 thousand. It was so great, and they were so great. Regardless, there's been so many good groups on this show - these guys were definitely one of them. I hope they are doing well today.
This is such a wonderful arrangement, it definitely deserves at least an A, specifically because of the lead vocals. I think it could get an A++ had the background vocals been a little bit louder and constant during the bridge. But even that’s nitpicking.
Ive watched all the preformances of SCS dozens of times (even the hotel practice) I cant say enough about every member and how much I love hearing you. Down to earth, southern guys who love music and the joy that it brings and it brings me much joy every day! If you see this, keep doing what you are doing and you will go far. Ill be looking out for your recordings. I like Committed too, but after this video (Creep) I was floored and it won the competition for me hands down!
I saw these guys about 4 years ago. They were great. I also participated in a vocal master class they gave earlier in the day. Their harmonies are even more amazing in person.
Easily the best beatboxer that was in that season. As a drummer he imitated that cross stick snare sound, perfectly. All and all one of the best sing off performances ever!
RUN RUN RUN RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
From the first day I was pretty certain it was Committed for the win, but I also figured this group could just maybe edge em out of it ; they are everything an acapella group should be + I LOVED their style but Committed brought a group dynamic which was more than the same solo+back every time out, plus musically they were just too TIGHT to beat ( maybe had a little Messiah Mojo working for em...) TOUGH call - I think the right group won, but If SCS put out an album, I'd Definitely buy it.
Southamericangirl42 and he absolutely kills it when he takes tims part! He often sings bass in their concerts just because Tim has a good amount of solos, and you can’t even tell it isn’t Tim unless you’re listening specifically to his part.
Anyone notice that the song in this video is slightly higher pitched? Watch some other other videos of this song and you'll know what I'm talking about.
I really enjoyed them and committed but committed had them beat most nights. But tonight with this song they won. This was a top performance and still come back to it every now and then.
@fingerfisty Orly? Break out your audacity and try covering this arrangement of Creep. If you're a baritone you should be able to do the entire thing legit no problem... at the most a tenor might have to "octave down" the bass part. Honestly the same thing can be said for almost any performance coming out of second season... Now try covering ANY Pentatonix song, period. If you can do even one part (of the 5) without audio tricks or "cheating" you're a better singer than most on the sing-off.

The hardest part of that was going from the loud wailing part to the whisper. It takes a lot of talent to do that AND stay on pitch.

I saw this when they first air and I’m still obsessed with the version of Creep all the covers they do are so amazing!!!
The vocals were incredible and the vocal percussion was wonderful, brilliant performance

7 years later and still get chills.

A year later and I still get chills from that high note.

GOOSEBUMPS!

When is @nicolesherzinger gonna have Jeremy of #streetcornerharmony or #maskedsinger
@krisdestiny34 not really... I have it recorded on my tv and its in the exact same key...
@pigzrulez 'Cause they rock so hard the audio goes up on its own!!!
Loooove it!

Do I seem Adam Chance here, now with Home Free?
Vicky Pierce yes, you do. he's singing bass here, but he does baritone for them, since no one can top Mr. Timothy Foust
Laura Krizo Chance also sings bass. When Tim is "otherwise engaged" in the group.
Southamericangirl42 and he absolutely kills it when he takes tims part! He often sings bass in their concerts just because Tim has a good amount of solos, and you can’t even tell it isn’t Tim unless you’re listening specifically to his part.
@MrAjcostilla That was a fun rendition! But, I felt like they turned it into a pure pop sound, leaving the "rock" part of it out. ;-/
I love these guys! So talented! My mom is even friends with these guys!!!! Everyone, I think you ALL need to look at Picturing You.
KJ Animations YOUR MOM KNOWS ADAM CHANCE???? You’re so lucky!
@demonbarber100 haha your right i replayed it like 143 times.
Anyone else absolutely love the way Jeremy flails at 2:25?
I'm not sure if I'd say best, personally I like pentatonix better, but there's no doubt in my mind that they are the two best.
Anyone notice that the song in this video is slightly higher pitched? Watch some other other videos of this song and you'll know what I'm talking about.
I just had a eargasom.
Hmmm... I feel like getting that "goosebumps" feeling.
*replays from 1:52 over and over and over again*
@MartyMcFly700 Agreed
This is in a higher key than the actual performance was, something happened while posting this.
I really enjoyed them and committed but committed had them beat most nights. But tonight with this song they won. This was a top performance and still come back to it every now and then.
the audio is messed up on all of these videos. its way higher than the original
You based your grade on whether they would sell well with the public and not the actual performance lmao
"creep" is hard enough on rock band...i can't even imagine Acapella
I like the lead...
1:54 Holy shit
how come this video's audio's higher than the other vids on youtube? :S
I think they were the only group who got the rock genre right
Everyone loves Radiohead's Creep song!
:)
Thumbs up for those who do
They were great, but listen to this ensemble: Google - "bluecoats creep promo"

he looks like chandler! haha
anyone else think that the guy at 2:34 kinda looks like leonardo decaprio?
are u smoking something? because this is an A+ bar none...
BLUECOATS!!! (If anyone gets that reference)
one person tried to cover the lead part...and did not make it to the high note :) RRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!
1 person hates creeps.
You give this a B+? I am officially convinced you know nothing about musical quality.
B+? are you serious?
umm it's Creep not creed.
This is to rock music as Kraft singles are to cheese.
Anyone getting sick of the pre-video political ad on various TH-cam videos? Even worse it's all BS. Next, they'll take away our ability to mute it.
Not good. The lead...pffft....off key.
season 2 was so much better than season 3 has been so far.... and these guys should have won... freakin amazing
