I will be staying in Kaunas for a week in the new year and want to visit Vilnius. Thanks for uploading this. Now I know what to do! The train ticket prices are very cheap. In my country it would be far more expensive!
The train station in Kaunas was built the year I was born. This was a very nice video. Both cities look very clean from what I saw. I would like to see more videos like this.

Why there are so few train passengers in Lithuania (5,5 million in 2019, less than 2 journeys a year) ? In my country Poland that year we had 325 million passengers (almost 9 journeys for every citizen). As a result Polish trains transport more passengers every week than Lithuanian in a whole year !
The network of train routes in Lithuania is terrible. Low speed, bad intervals, the main route of the country is Kaunas-Vilnius, where trains run every 40-70 minutes. A few more routes where trains run 7-10 times a day. Like some others only drive 3-6 times a day.
Hey Gintaras, nice video! Maybe you could improve the sound quality, noises were too loud sometimes. Also the subtitles were a bit hard to understand sometimes. But I'd love to see rail videos of Lithuania and other countries! There are two things that I find surprising about Lithuanian stations: the extremely low platforms (I guess this is a Soviet heritage...) and the usual lack of signs with the station name on the platforms, only the main building has the name written on it.
Good video, Lithuania is one of the countries I want to visit the most!!
you are welcome!

@@MrGintaras Absolutely! I'm from Ukraine & it's interesting to realize that Lithuanian railways also operate double-stored EJ trains.
@@igorudovychenko3446 So i planning make same type video in my future travels in other countries.

Marvelous production. Get to Białystok now is impossible but journey from LT to BY is?
No, trains have not been running for a long time and there is also no possibility to get a visa
I hope they choose a designer who is not color blind when they order the next trains.
And that door sound was quite annoying.
Great video format, but in 4K would be better.
at this moment i dont have camera with 4K
Or I pay when I get to the building
from conductor inside the train
