Great video love the channel ,interested I a video on the topic of late summer heat fishing .where and what are the fish doing when the water is stagnant and over grown with vegetation.
Typically a level leader of 3x followed by a blood knot connecting 2-3' of 4x fluoro. Fly is always attached with a non-slip mono loop, except for some flies that are tied with 60 or 45 deg jig hooks!
Thank you for your comment - whether they are purely fly fishing or not (I don’t think they are, for the record), they are enjoyable methods to catch fish in a variety of situations.
Just started really getting into Stillwater and the success I’ve had with leeches this spring has been unreal. Really stoked I found this channel🤘
Love it, thanks so much for your comment!
Great info! Just got into Stillwater fishing last season and started with balanced leeches. They seem to work all year round for me!
Thanks for watching Greg!! They are absolutely a great pattern at any time of the year.

Great video Jordan. What's your favourite way to fish leeches ?
Suspended beneath a strike indicator - sometimes moving them (especially bigger ones) on intermediate to medium sinking lines!
Which in essence is not fly fishing
@@ronniebiggs4026 why is this not fly fishing
Do leeches during the fall work? Or is there a different pattern that works better during the late summer into fall?
What’s your leader setup for leeches?
