I saw him as the Duke in Rigoletto in LA opera. Unfortunately he was the weakest link. The most amazing Rigeletto and Gilda, but Fabiano as the Duke had a small voice and every time the notes got high, I thought his voice was going to crack. Maybe he was having a bad day, but he shouldn’t have sung and the company should have had a replacement for him.
