My favorite thing about this song is how well they mesh together it doesn't feel like a feature. And you will learn as a Blink there is never enough Jisoo but yeah Jisoo really got stiffed on lines in this song.

From the very first video I watched of them it was Jisoo that stole my heart too and it's stayed that way, but by the time you get through all their stuff you'll realize that at some point along the way EVERYONE of them will make your heart skip a beat at one time or another. For me it's Jennie in the beginning of Boombayah, it's Lisa during the first dance part of Playing with Fire in those black pants, it's Rose with the pink hair in Lovesick Girls.....and of course there are many more instances across the board as well, but those stand out to me. And it's ALL THE TIME with Jisoo who is PERFECTION

I love blackpink, but i really have to tell, that i grow with Selena Gomez. She was the one who was here when i need that, i struggle with similar things also in similar timing. So it fits perfect to connect with her and her music. When i was depressed from heartbreak i really relate to the song “The heart want what it wants” which is so strong for me all the time. When i realize that i’m the one important for myself, she released song “Lose you to love me” and than “Look at her now” it was in the same day when i break up with my boyfriend because i felt that i did not get value that i should get. You brought up some good points. Yes, this was made during COVID so Selena could not be together with BP, but they created the song and MV seamlessly. You can watch the making of this and any of their MVs to see more behind the scenes. This being your first collab, you may notice the collab songs are more western feels and mostly English for BP. Same for their collab with Dua Lipa (which to be honest they sound better covering her parts, just watch the Tokyo Dome Live version), Lady Gaga, and Cardi B. This song was "cheeky" filled with double entendras because Ariana Grande and others assisted on the lyrics, Yes you pointed out that Jisoo had little parts in this song and many mentioned, maybe because most the song was in English and they had a fifth member on vocals, but Jisoo kicked the butt off the rest of "The Album" with plenty of parts she killed.

I also have to say that I am TOTALLY with you on Jisoo. There is NO ONE like her on earth. NO ONE looks like that. NO ONE has that kind of spontaneous personality. For any asian female to have THAT BIG of a personality is STUNNING!!! I have said that there is ample evidence that Jennie picked each one of her bandmates and held on to them (they were huddled in one room together while others came and went). Picking Lisa to stand next to you is one thing (she's amazing from the get go). But picking Jisoo, ... someone who photographs THAT well in EVERY shot to stand next to you is a boss confident move. If Jisoo with THAT face is in any shot on camera, you are definitely looking at that face. She is drawing all attention from any camera. She naturally finds her eyeline. she is doing things that professional models do (and there is evidence that she taught everyone else how to gaze into the camera eye & not blink,... they weren't doing it before she was there). She is a natural model for any camera, moving or still. She is a consummate entertainer, nothing fazes her,... she is a pro. As a human being, Jisoo is STUNNING on every level. Did we even mention she can act as well. She can play weak girls, strong ones, underhanded ones (you would never suspect someone that innocent looking). She's a natural talent.

Jisoo is one of those rare performers where her voice is absolutely stable in live performances. She sounds just like the recorded version. She’s so good but not many are attracted to her unique vocals. But I love her vocals.
Let me share you a secret at the time this song came out I was more a Selenator than a Blink I thought the girls were beauty and this song I really like it but then I decide to learn more from them and start to listening and watching their MVS and then As Is It's Your Last was playing and I realized they were the same girls I felt in love with a few years back

Their first western artist collab was with Dua Lipa. Jennie and Lisa went to Dua Lipa’s concert in SK and met her. A collab came from that encounter. They also collabed with Lady Gaga for the song Sour Candy on Lady Gaga’s album Chromatica. There are no MV’s for any of those songs. You can find video on yt of Dua Lipa and BP performing Kiss and Make up together at BP’s concert in Newark during their In your area tour.
I personally love this song, and I have since day one. It's so fun and a BOP, with my personally favorite part being the ending, and I also enjoy songs that shock or make me laugh, and this song is definitely no exception. Hopefully you'll check out The Album soon. 😍❤🍦

I think other commenters are right. they really mesh very well in this song. I think it's a Teddy song really. Their producer took all of these disparate parts and made this tiny masterpiece. There is footage of him playing this for them first time and they genuinely seem shocked that it's a song that they worked on. Then they did this fab MV. And it's another killer right?? It just has sort of a life of it's own. Is there nothing they could sing about that wouldn't be sexy. Who knew Ice Cream was so sexy?

This is indeed the cheekiest Blackpink song there is. Check out the footage of Jisoo at this year's Paris Fashion Week where she was the face of Dior. International stars were lining up to get some time with her. Jisoo doesn't hang out with Hollywood stars, the Hollywood stars hang out with her. As for collabs, they did one with Dua Lip called Kiss And Make Up which works just as well as ice Cream

Blinks first thought it will be an Ariana Grande collab, but it ended up with Selena, with Ariana writing the song.
There is an official lyric video for this where all 5 of them are connected virtually in their respective locations and it was so fun how they hype up Jisoo! You would love it. Selena loved the girls so much she even had How You Like That featured in the trailer of Hotel Transylvania, which Selena starred in and co-produced.
They have a a collaboration with Lady Gaga, featured in Lady Gaga’s Chromatica album-title is Sour Candy. Right, filmed in separate places across the world from each other. The two companies matched up the lighting and mood of the performances really well, there must have been some MASSIVE amounts of communication between them! Lots of people did not notice they filmed separately! After the choreography video came out for this song, some VERY DEDICATED BLINK put out a video that is an animated choreo video with the doll-like caricatures dressed as all five ladies, so Selena (sort-of) got to dance with BP! It is CUTE!
Jisoo doesn't sing much English and since this song was meant for the American/English speaking nations she wasn't really utilized for the song. And for that same reason, Lisa, who is fluent in English, is utilized the most.
I don't think this is the reason why jisoo got the least lines, because she already proved she can sing in english fluently (crazy over u/ love to hate me...), also lisa got the least lines in bet u wanna although the song was in english... this is my opinion btw maybe I'm wrong 👀
That's not true, Rosé and Jisoo would both get lines from Selena Gomez when they would perform the song on stage because they are the vocalists but as they went on hiatus and corona hit there, they never performed the song on stage so we never heard the version where Selenas parts would be sang by them both
When it comes to English fluency/confidence, Lisa probably places third tbh. She speaks it well enough, but she's not on the level of Jennie or Rosé (who has English as a first language).
