honestly never thought about that concept of the enemy committing to pushing the wave in this way. Played patient on ganks before but never internalized what or why I had needed that patience for the gank to be done well. Will definitely be trying to apply this concept in my games, and hoping to use it to climb TY!

The "of course he easily beats sett in the 1v1 here" at 8:36 is a bit...dishonest.
The wukong was 2 levels down and the sett had a giant wave , R status unknown , with only a 140 health disadvantage. The 35 ad in items doesnt make up for this. The wukong either absolutely smurfed that fight or got absurdly lucky with his timing and spacing.
Suggesting he didnt need to use ult to win the fight is way too influenced by the wukong perfectly dodging Sett E, the entirety of his W, and spacing outside of Sett R range but between his clone so he landed a full 3 seconds of damage uncontested.
Telling a BRONZE wukong to go for that results in him just dying 7/10 times and throwing the match.
Its a good video but that fight was something you go for as a smurf or limit test and in NO context does wukong win that without R.

You're overthinking it. Like really overthinking it. Mechanics aren't even important in that clip. Skill capped has a wukong player that knows his dps well and he's just telling you how he would play it. Also, that wukong literally slapped his keys in order as he ran in circles.
If anything, this response is what's dishonest. With ult, Wukong cannot lose that fight unless he ints. As such, it is an obviously free kill. The speaker in this video correctly identifies that by saying of course Wukong easily beat Sett 1v1 there. He then correctly recognizes the ult might not have even been necessary had Wukong let Sett push up further by not using Ghost. Again, he's correct. With decent mechanics Sett shouldn't have the damage to kill Wukong and Wukong would be able to run him down. Even in this clip, without letting Sett push up more, Wukong probably doesn't need to ult there.
But the important thing is because he can ult, Wukong doesn't need mechanics at all. As long as a Bronze player going for this play doesn't int, they should win the fight every time. And they should be able to do it without using Ghost. The ult question just comes down to, "Do they have the mechanics to win the fight without it?" If so, great, they can save it. If not, oh well. They get a kill either way.

Often times we overestimate our own influence in a fight without realising the opponent's.
Rewatch the fight thinking you are the Sett player, not the wukong. Notice the wave size, look at the health numbers, and notice how well the wukong played it. I can't teach you to see the game differently but atleast try to play out the situation in your head before typing such a long reply with no substance.
@@zz1000zz anyone who says wukong should save his ult is miscalculating the numbers. Sett wins the fight just by kiting inside his wave or at least trades 1 for 1, saving time by spacing, using W, throwing wukong in his wave. If he Lands his true dmg W he has a Chance to kill wukong even when he Uses ult.
It seem like this advice also applies for when the enemy commit to an objective later in the game (baron, split, dragon, teamfigts)
Yeah, a good example is waiting for the enemy team to start hitting an objective before moving in, because it increases the chance that people will keep hitting it instead of fighting. They also weaken their position to get into range a lot of the time.
Most of the time I farm my wave to the end instead of instantly helping my jungler near me in river.
Thats the explanation for, I often feels to "finish my decission" before going in another one.

No offense but as a regular viewer I KNOW it’s not gonna be clickbait, but an educational video. Newcomers who have no idea what the channel is about because of the state of league videos? Maybe not.
@@andrem4542 As a matter of fact I've been watching Skill Capped for since I started League nearly 10 months ago. It is not the content itself that I have an issue with, but the rampant ALL CAPS absolute claim that this next piece of advice is THE guaranteed way to climb. By a quick glance over I counted 16 videos in the past four months that have the words THE ONE strategy/mechanic/champion/route/technique etc. Most of these were fairly helpful but the titles were misleading and in my opinion, obnoxious.
And I think that videos should speak for themselves instead of having to reassure you that they are not click-baiting you. Saying that you aren't lying to someone immediately makes them suspicious of you. I approached this video with more skepticism because the title started multiple alarm bells in my head.
I am trying to offer constructive criticism on how to build credibility. I'm sorry if any of this has been worded poorly.

@@kylecurtis2786 Super valid points! I think it has to do with the TH-cam algorithm. Using certain words can help videos get more exposure. I agree it does not make for a great title, but I imagine the channel benefits enough from this manner of titling to keep using it. Perhaps that helps a bit!
The ghost on the replay vs Sett with Wukong wasnt necesary, but ult, 2 lvls down was for sure.
sett would of got all his health back from killing the minions and would of smacked him 1v1. Video is literal click bait does not apply.

You forget that it's sometimes good to show to an enemy laner and clear their wards even if the gank will probably not work because it takes off pressure of this lane when the enemy has to play more careful. Also if Wukong waited for more minions to die and ganked before they reached the turret, he would have taken a lot more damage from the minions and with sett it's not as important but if you lose vision on let's say sion top that you are trying to gank, you are probably gonna eat a fully charged q to the face from the brush, so sometimes it's better to just go for a suboptimal gank like you did against volibear.
Yes, but still better to wait for next wave because that way they will need to think about leaving this wave. So if he is thinking and you show up - he just recalls. If he goes to push and you show up - he either dies to gank or backs off and recall/stay because your lane now pushes and he risk losing wave to tower.
That's the problem with low elo, it's so random u can't predict😂
I never played this game or any computer game . But my friends all play this and told me to get a computer. Will this HONESTLY help me or is it a money scam or only help people with prior pc Game experience
I do this so often, even knowing in the back of the head that it's a dumb play. The pressure to act....
I like the idea but the reality is not quite as you say it when in the video 9:15 for example keeping the ghost is indeed possible as for the ult it's the best option even later because sett early potential is astounding and tiamat longsword isn't the best damaging gear. and going back to fog quicker is ideal too.
So, I would have w to get in aa range then simple slow combo such as aa q aa until sett w and then e r if necessary as you don't want to be low health or too long on the job (q is an aa reset which shred armor for the rest of the trade) so keep the e in case of a flash and the ghost in case of a random support or jgl counter gank.
Overall, I love your videos they showed me I was too accustomed to playing trash champs which don't scale and since I climbed using better adapted picks. I used to main j4, elise and poppy as I loved the early potential, but eve and xin became my new go to as they are also great at suppressing carries late game but still carry a decent early mid game potential

I have 63% winrate playing jg, top and supp, just got plat 4. Nothing is accurate in this video. Silver, gold and plat are just bronze with different colors. In order to apply any strategy, your team needs to do their job, at least basic things. The only advise I can give you, since I have expirience in low ranks from 2016, is that you have to use chat and give orders. When they do what I say, we win 99%. I usually check and harash enemy jg, and I say to my team if he is coming. Then I farm fast, getting priority at objectives, and when we win that team fight at the first dragon, it is usually game over. But you have to tell them "push the waves", "go b and come fast" etc.
Yeah that doesn't work. My teams refuse to listen to me and die in drag pit fights over and over instead of baron. Riot is going to put you in loser's queue and you can't get out.

ok so how am I supposed to deal with my most fed carry literally pushing mid nonstop against a nunu that just rolls the snowball from base and hits her every time and thus kills her cause nunu can lock her down long enough so his team can come?
this ashe died literally SEVEN times this way and would keep pinging me for not grouping (yorick btw, took 5 turrets by myself and left 2 inhibs open before 30 mins)
how can I deal with someone playing like that? even when the support tanked the nunu snowball they would still get rolled because enemy team had engage/damage advantage and they would both die before anyone could do anything

If you wanna climb as jungle in low ELO you need to farm a lot. Play a farming jungle. Stop wasting time sitting still doing nothing. Stop showing in lane for 2 minutes. The play is dead after showing and not getting a kill. Don't stay wasting your time. You will lose farm and possibly die to a enemy rotation.
You need to get a scanner at lvl 1 after warding the side you don't start on to defend from invades. & You need to use it to clear the vision your enemies place. This applies pressure to noobs even though the odds of you getting a pre 6 gank are low as a farming jungle.

My actual problem that Is freezing me in low Elo Is the amount of bots/Trolls/leavers/afker/griefers. I have an excel file where i track my games, if i win or if i lose and if there was atleast one player of the categories above. What i found out Is that 2 of 3 games contain atleast one of those and It gives either a free win or free lose, but its all random and you can do nothing about It. I noticed that, in fair games, i have about 80% win rate in my current Elo (and it feels easy). I had the chance to talk about this with other players and looks like im not the only one frozen in the wrong Elo due to this problem.
So long as Iron 4 accounts are worth 500$ a pop? This will continue. When you see a player trying to lose, excluding someone clearly on mental tilt, they are intentionally tanking their rank. It's more common in gold and below, for obvious reasons, but once you climb into plat it stops and those inters/trolls/griefers etc drop to maybe 1 out 4. It's not worth to play league anymore and this is coming from a Diamond player. I was ranking up an alt account towards the end of the season and to merely get to g4 was like having dental work done b/c so many games were unwinnable no matter how fed I was.
all this stuff is bs i went 12 and 2, got all objectives, ganked everylane and because my laners sucked all 4 ffed at 15. Low elo has downs, just buy an account for like 10$ unranked account and go stright up
Just to say that i'm never going to listen to a promote video at the start of a youtube video like skill-capped. Tried to sign in for the website to withdraw 18.99 from my account, having a bug on the page, no way to login with the mail and password used at the start of the process, reset password doesn't work with the mail.
In short, felt scammed.

A MEN FUCK DUO PLAYERS Almost all of them are streamers being elo inflated every season it's disgusting.
Crazy good video, this idea applies to trading as well, super low elo noobs have trouble finding windows to trade because they don't try and w8 for the enemy to try a thing. "cs, or move to a position to trade on adc etc." As an eve main I approve watching enemies and attacking when they feel comfy.

Instruct your team mates in to good decisions
Shut up when your wrong
Play champions that are known to stomp low elo ( master yi,assasins as suport botlane stuffs like that )
Dont get in to somebody mind game
Always asume your being ambushed ( therefore always ask for assistence in doing dangerous stuffs like objectives or warding deep )
"don't get into somebodys mind game" doesn't apply if you are shaco, shaco is ALWAYS the one playing mind games xD

Your LP gains should never get that skewed. If they do, it means your displayed rank is far higher than your actual MMR, meaning unless/until you can get your MMR up, your rank likely won't increase. That's a sucky situation as it can take a crazy amount of wins to fix your MMR, and a lot of people will switch to an alt if they hit that point.
The important thing is to understand what matters is your MMR not your displayed rank.

@@kooldudematt1 yup. I once played getting 6-7 LP for a win and losing 20-21 LP for a loss. Complete nonsense. If they want to use MMR, that's fine, but they should just show/use that not add in this separate bronze/silver/gold/etc ranking system.
The worst part is they could easily keep the same ranks by just saying MMR of 1000-1100 is Bronze, 1101-1200 is Silver or whatever.

That first example is terrible. If the aatrox would have gone all in when rengar exists the bush sion would have been dead. Instead he burns all his skills on the wave. Because everything is on cool down he never walks up.

He has to thin out the wave to get lvl up. In addition, Sion will win 2v1 with that huge wave build-up. Don't forget about his passive. If he trades 2v1 there and aatrox loses that huge wave, the game is basically over for him. Sion comes back with a bramble vest and some hp and is 1-2 lvls up on aatrox for the rest of the lane. Aatrox cannot even take his shield down from that point onwards. Sion will proxy him and mess with the jungler afterwards.
1. Can't expect the aatrox to play perfect
2. There's a lot of cs the aatrox misses to go for the gank earlier, a 40% gank chance for 300 gold isn't as good as the 150 gold turret would eat in the meantime
I've never get more wins when following Skill Capped Guides..especially this guide gave me 0 wins after 10games =)
To all players who think Wukong had to use his Ult against Sett:
The Wukong played the fight like iron.
1. he did not hit the q before ulting
2. used W for extra dmg and then placed the q from the clone on minions. (He should have used the w to dodge Sett's shield, so he wouldn't have needed an ult either.
3. continue with the E used to close the gab that was not there.... He could have picked that up to follow up on a flash.
4. no autohit q before activating the second ult.
The wukong played this extremely poorly. Knowing I don't need an e to get to him as well as using the w correctly, Sett has no chance of escaping here and even if Wukong doesn't use his ult.
