@@MarkMorris-1962 Thank you, Mark. I have 6 Talking Heads albums. I showed Fear of Music because I like the song, Life During War Time. I almost used the 3 lines from this song, "I changed my hair style so many times now, I don't know what I look like". Thank you for watching. 😊
Hi Catherine I’ve never heard that sting live album I need to check it out .. great b52s album. I also like sire records👍 .. automatic for the people is a classic .. Beatles for the win!👍
@robwalkerletthemusicplay Hi Rob. There is a documentary on TH-cam called Sting All This Time. It is about the making of the live album. Someone uploaded the DVD also. Thank you for watching and commenting. 😊
Well done, Catherine! Your breakup selection makes sense as I think about it! As always, you easily convey how these artists speak to you. Sire is spot on for a favorite label. I love seeing 45's as you know! Reincarnation selection is excellent. 😎🎶
Great response. Sire is a good pick and that is a wonderful Talking Heads album. The Pretenders, Yaz and The Smiths were also on Sire. I liked the three 45's you showed and Cyndi Lauper would is an interesting pick.
Hey Catherine! Thanks so much for the shoutout! Really appreciate it. I didn't think to show a picture of an album from 1974 as I didn't have any in my collection. Great idea on that one. Good choices on your vinyl tag. John Denver was awesome! Miss him for sure. I kind of wish I would have chosen Olivia Newton-John for artist I miss. Love that R.E.M. album. I have that Sting live album too and Nothing Like The Sun is my favorite Sting solo record. Great album. Great B-52's album as well. I got that same Billy Joel box set too! Great job on the vinyl tag Catherine! You've got great taste!
@toddthemod You are welcome, Todd. I haven't bought the John Denver, Back Home Again because I have the Rocky Mountain Box set collection. I imagine that album will get re-released next year. It is amazing how many of the same records are CDS we have. Thank you for watching 😊
Hello! I enjoyed your video so much. The autographed Genesis CD is very cool and a great find. I loved the respect you gave to John Denver and Sting in your video. Cyndi Lauper is very unique. ♥️ Take care.
Hey Catherine. Thanks for the shoutout! Lots of great albums. I love the John Denver quote you shared - so great! Also, what a great find with the Phill Collin’s CD!!! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Catherine! Great video. I love how honest you are, and I also love your eclectic music choices! That Sting CD is fantastic. "Give Me Back My Man" is such a great breakup song. Do you happen to have the John Denver album with the Muppets? I have it and would be happy to send it to you! Aww, thank you for the shout-out! I’m looking forward to getting to know you better too! It would fun to do a live after the holidays. ❤
@@djstephwest Hi Stephanie. Thank you for watching. 😊 I don't have John Denver and the Muppet. I would be glad to adopt your unwanted album. I will send you a email. After Christmas I have time off from work. Not sure if I have Sunday off. I will know soon.
Hi Catherine, thank you for your vinyl tag response. I really enjoyed your video and your selections. I loved REM, Peter Gabriel, and the B52’s. I’m a big Sting fan so it’s nice seeing some love for him in the VC as he doesn’t seem to popular for reasons I can’t explain. And yes Manu Katché is an amazing drummer. Happy Holidays 🎅🏼
@PrettyGreenVinylGuy Thank you, Edwin. I really enjoyed the questions, and I apologize for mispronounced your name. I even forgot John Denver's hometown, so I quickly said Colorado. You did a good job.
Hi Catherine, nice interesting choices. I have an original Australian pressing of "Judy In Disguise". I remember hearing it as a kid in the mid 60's. I love 45's as well, buying since I was around 14 in the early '70's and have over somehow acquired 4300+ of them. A lot of that was from big hauls found in varying places. I'd be interested to see what else was in that newly gained singles box. 😊 Take care. Cheers from Sydney Oz.. 😊
@@peterx1957 Thank you for watching! In two weeks I will be showing the 45s. I will do a flip through for easy viewing. The person also gave me several LPs. I will start showing these in January. It sounds like you have a good collection of music. Take care. 😊
B-52s is an interesting album to play after a breakup. I never would have thought of that one. A musicians political opinions has little bearing on what I listen to. However I don’t like it when they tell me who to vote for in a condescending way. Judy In Disguise is such a great song.
Excellent responses, Catherine! Love those Beatles selections and I was super excited to see Fear of Music making an appearance!
