Lecture 1: Argument || Valid and Invalid Argument || Deductive Reasoning || Urdu/Hindi
Here we begin. After listening this video note down the major themes discussed in this video on a notebook. Frame a few arguments, write a few examples of valid and invalid arguments and do share some interesting deductions in the comment section. Lets play with philosophy... :-)

Wow sir ! Bundle of flowers 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷 and hearts for your lovely explanation 💝💝💝💝
Sir, thank you so much for starting such an informative session.
From your best explanation, I can make the following arguments.
Mathematical Form:
a=b and b=c so, a=c
Argument (1)
Premise (i): All Scottish are British.
Premise (ii): All British are Europeans.
Conclusion: So all Scottish are Europeans.
(Valid Argument)
Argument (2)
Premise (i): South Asia is a region in Asia.
Premise (ii): Pakistan is situated in South Asia.
Conclusion: So Pakistan is an Asian country.
(Valid Argument)
On the other hand,
(Invalid Argument 1)
Premise (i): All Scottish are British.
Premise (ii): Most of Scottish speak English.
Conclusion: All Scottish are Europeans.
(It is Invalid Argument)
(Invalid Argument 2)
Premise (i): South Asia is a region in Asia.
Premise (ii): Hinduism and Islam are the leading religions in South Asia.
Conclusion: Pakistan is an Asian country.
(It is a Invalid Argument)
I hope I have made correct arguments. Need your evaluation for these arguments.
Thank you.
Excellent. ❤️

AOA sir. would you kindly tell me please if valid and invalid arguments are also known as formal and informal? i mean are they the same?
Good question. Please check this www.thoughtco.com/validity-argument-1692577
They are not the same. For details see this www.thoughtco.com/validity-argument-1692577
AoA sir! Which philosophy is implemented in Single national curriculum?
Philosophy of Social Constructivism.
Sometimes same premises can lead to different conclusions. How the validity or invalidity of that argument will then be determined?
For example, the ages old debate on existence and non-existence of god.
In one argument a set of premises would lead to one conclusion only. The structure would always be like a=b, b=c, thus a=c. A valid argumend would always go in one direction. When any premise change or a conclusion is drawn differently then the whole argument is changed mean we would call it a new argument. 😊
Isn't Artificial Intelligence a setback to Philosophy?
Hope you will reconsider your position after this course. Just keep this question with you and I will come-up with a comprehensive video on it after completing this course. It would be too early to engage in this stage right now... :-)
Nice well explained.
