@@MichaelSanders Fast food- Chic-Fila. Sit down- A nice Italian restaurant, a seafood restaurant. I would love to see some fine dining spots. Even something like Buffalo Brothers would be cool. A NY Deli or Bagel shop. Also maybe a nice sports bar like the one in Fenton. A place like Level 7 in North Hills would also be nice. Stores. Play it again sports. My wife would like a Hobby Lobby or Michael's. But this is not that type of shops going in there. But a mom and pop craft type store, Music shop, clothing stores.... All of it would be nice. An ice rink!!!!!!! We need an ice rink!!! the one big thing we really need near by would be a Lows or Home Depot! We either have to go to 40/42 or Knightdale for a Lows or Home Depot.

The area you are talking about is called Flowers. Flowers Plantation is behind the Food Lion. Also great neighborhoods but complete at this time. Good resales with Beautiful walking trails. Planation Point in Flowers Planation is a hot spot for Halloween. People come from all over to trick or treat there. Also at Christmas the entire neighborhood is lit up.
Richard, thanks for your comment and for being a viewer of my channel! Unfortunately, the indoor pool at the Flowers Plantation YMCA has been permanently closed (maintenance issues I was told). There are plans to hopefully open the outdoor pool for year-round use within the next 12 months, but I'm not sure how many people will want to use an outdoor pool during the winter months.
Very nice. Next to my home state ⚓️Maryland. The Carolinas has always been a great place to live and raise a family. We send our children there for college and they typically don’t come back. Beautiful well kept state. Great 👍 community. My question would be how do the people in such large communities connect? Are there community events, churches, club house events etc?
Octavia, great question! Its pretty easy to meet new people in communities like Flowers Plantation. Most people either meet out walking along the miles of walking trails and pedestrian-friendly sidewalks. Also people meet at the pool, playgrounds, and amenities center. Are you planning a move to the area?
Van, yes, South Quarter at Flowers Plantation is, in fact, one of the 40 or so individual neighborhoods within the overall Flowers Plantation master-planned community. Most of the homes in this specific neighborhood range in size from around 2,400 sqft up to around 3,400 sqft. Lot sizes are going to range from 1/2 to 3/4 of an acre. Hope you're doing well!

Do they have any indoor pool facilities for waterwalking? I heard the Y indoor pool was closed.

You should tour the Highgate Community in Clayton. Way more convenient to the Clayton shopping areas and Downtown Raleigh.
