Your adventurous Cajun houseboat camping trip embodies the spirit of exploration, fishing, and joyous moments riding the waters, creating an unforgettable experience that celebrates the beauty of nature and camaraderie. And I am Floating Village Life In From Viet Nam
Great weekend even though you didn’t get any crabs or fish. Scenery makes up for it. Those gators come so close! We went to Grand Isle on the 4th . We caught 5.5 dozen . They were so good.
Great episode! Me personally I love simple camp life videos. Makes me miss home. I lived in manchac right by the gators den bar for years & I had a floating house boat in the canal. I know all about that life I love it and miss it. But I don't miss that heat or them floods lol. Keep doin what your doin lil Cajun girl 🫶🏼
Some beautiful scenery in this one, that sunset was awesome! I don't believe you can really enjoy the outdoors until you learn how to just sit and look and listen to nature and appreciate all its goodness! Great video Joey👊
Thank for the scenic tour always a welcome sight and sounds of the glory of God, if people would only slow down and realize what is truly important rather than material things. Keep up the the great video work,Loved your Shrimp Bergers, Like to have the recipe if you would share,Thanks.
I do like the scenery and remoteness of your camp. My biggest question is how you get where you're going and get back, considering lack of landmarks and changing scenery. Looks like you had a good 4th week/weekend. Thanks for the video.
You braver than me my girl, I’d be taking the .375 big bore and separating its head from the rest of it. I’m in Australia, love your content. You fish like a champion, catch blu crab like I’ve never seen, just for the joy of it then give to the neighbours and friends. I used to do that, but I’m old now and it’s nice to see someone with such a joy for the outdoor life, tuned into your surroundings and such a generous nature.❤
Really liking the camera work. How brackish is it at the camp. I love catching saltwater and fresh fish species in the same spot. Tell Sophie to watch out for that sneaky gator. Tell him he can come over for supper....Gator Jambalaya!
You got such a beautiful place. Got me missing my camp somebody went and byrned it down i just about lived in it stay a couple weeks at a time so peaceful in the middle of no where no body around that was the life.
BTW, what about water moccasins and mosquitos? And, I assume you have a motor generator for electricity - right? I'm also curious how remote you are from your launch point, and what part of the state you are living in. Enjoy your content and am fascinated with life in the deep southern areas, since I'm a "high-land coonass" from the Delta area at 65feet above sea level.
Only seen a couple moccasins out there over many years. Mosquitoes are terrible! We use a gas generator. It’s a 45-60 minute boat ride from the launch. This is in terrebone parish
i fish the area im curious are you in turtle bayou area? my last trip down lillies were so bad I had to run intercoastal NORTH TO STUMP CANAL !! GOT RUN DOWN BY A LEASE HOLDER TOLD CANAL NOW POSTED!! HAVE TRAVERSING THAT CANAL 40 YEARS !! BUT YOU CANT ARGUE WITH SOMEONE THAT HAS A SHOTGUN IN THEIR LAP

Hey do you hunt alligator there? Is there a season for them? Looks nice out there. Thanks for sharing.
There is a season but you have to have tags and the rights to hunt them, that’s just not something we do
Can’t believe I missed that evening sky🤦🏼♀️
What were you doing hiding from the mosquitos or passed out 😂😂😂
Couldn’t find the remote for the TV, so I went to sleep🤦🏼♀️
do you guys have to pay to have those out there ?
Yes it’s all private land out there so we have to lease
Almost forgot, love to the doggo 🐶.
Why not chicken in the crab traps?
I already had the fish heads. We do use chicken often tho
Do you own the place where your house boat is.
Lease
@@CajunGirlOutdoors thank you, nice place, bet the lilies drive you nuts.
