They knows, and they feels sad and mad that Africans not using these lands to farming, because they don't want to see those places to be wasted. That's why some Chinese comes there to teach local people to plant the vegetables. But don't blame on Chinese, cuz China has no TH-cam, google, all they can know Africa is from news, count on international news to transfer the news from outside China. Unfortunately America is good at making the news about how poor Africa is.
