I was watching from the hill facing the ski jump, and when we heard the start of the first race, then seeing Tomac come around in first was one of the most spine chilling moments I've ever been a part of in MX. The roar of the crowd was so great. I've heard some people say that the crowd was a bit subdued, but from my vantage point, it was amazing, and I am a fan of these three American Heroes for life.
Weege, thanks for doing these videos. I was there yesterday but without you doing these videos for those who can’t be there or make it across the pond to come and be there in person, but these videos bring you there. I have no idea how you keep talking without getting distracted by all of the fans, horns and revving engines. Hell you even take selfies with random fans without skipping a fucking beat. A true legend, people open up to you because they know how much you love and give to the sport. Thanks Weege and please keep on doing these videos, these are the videos that super fans love to watch.
Props to Justin Cooper, for proving half the MX world WRONG! So many doubters and so many haters... I am ecstatic and so happy that only was he number one in his class, but he tremendously helped our team USA to win. Sexton and Tomac did not disappoint and rode on a level we all knew they could. Congratulations!
He did ok, but it didn't prove anyone wrong. True he didn't make the "major mistake" that the younger guys make too often (as with his first time out), but in all likelihood, Craig or Anderson would have scored as well or better, with less chance of a huge error.
@@jedielder7970 No duh. Do you understand why that means almost nothing? Apparently not. It's the weakest of all the riders, he had the FIRST gate pick, the Star bikes are rocket ships, and the muddy conditions made passing difficult. Anybody could have won with that advantage. Even with that, he had more points than Chase and Eli COMBINED! Anderson or Craig would have done better with less risk.
@@CaptainSteve777 History will show that he did good, period. To suggest there were no good guys in the 250 class is ignorant. Also, the muddy conditions tend to favor teams from outside the US.
Coopers 4th place was as much as a win, and matched if not bettered anyone's ride all day. Eli's holeshot to win was the clutch ride USA needed to underpin their day. Sextons selflessness sealed the deal. You know he must have been fighting himself not to push harder, but held back for his country.
Wow Eli that hole shot and win was epic !!!! And that special camera shot of you going over larocco's leap was sick you are the man bro that was amazing thank you so much for winning for all of us ! USA !!!! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Cool!!! It is going to be a long 3 months until A1... and after such an awesome 2022 all year long... damn it is going to be a long wait!! Thanks Weege and team!!
I owe Justin Cooper an apology. I thought CC28 would've been a better pick for the 250 class but he really showed out and proved me and a shit ton of other ppl who were advocating for other ppl also, dead ass wrong. Huge congratulations to team USA 🇺🇸 Eli Tomac, Chase Sexton, Justin Cooper 👏 🍾
Everyone missed a key point on this topic... bringing any 450 rider down to a 250 just in hopes of winning MXoN would have been flat out cheating and would have in retrospect spoiled the victory. This was an honest team of deserving guys and exactly how the classes were set-up to reflect the up and coming talent in MX 2. USA did it right and fairly achieved these results to show it was a wise move. Kudos to Decoster who had the most say in this call.
@@jordanemede How about it's called cheating if it's the only way you can win... heh! USA was desperate. It looked like we would do anything to up our chances, and that would have been the wrong attitude.
Most people will never understand what it's like what Tomac is saying, I've experienced the same thing in playing music, I played on stage all over the place but the first time I got on stage with Gary Allan it absolutely completely changed, even though I was still singing and playing my drums, on stage with Gary Allan and tens of thousands of people completely changes the mindset, which can change your performance.

What a team, cant get any cooler for us fans to see the show that #3 & #23 put on all season every dang round and moto and then they team up, get along, having fun, embracing and helping JCoop and they kicked ass on the world! What a season for us Moto Fans! Thanks to Weege and Kellen for doing this!
I’m not sure, actually I am sure that no one will take ET3’s place. He has been the hot sauce of MX and SX for at least the last 10 yrs, always been in the mix with the exception of injury 2015 at round 3. Has anyone thought about what he was about to do (if he hadn’t gotten hurt)…. Would have been record setting!! What I will remember, in a long list of Eli memories, is Eli raced like a man and never dirty. When he won and or placed he did it on his own merit. He put in the blood sweat and tears, as the saying goes and entertained US with all of it. Nobody will replace Eli, not in my book and there’s many others out there that will agree!! We’re the lucky ones, we’re the witnesses!!!!
