They go even though illegal means. Many Sikh girls were married to NRIs without checking groom's credentials and suffered a lot. India is still a good country and opportunities available. No American or European come to India for job. Youths should have clear Idea and should not pressure parents for money for going abroad. Dhanyawad/Satsri Akal 🙏

Till few years back, the difference between the developed and developing nation was that you never had to work very hard to have good life in developed country. Earlier people in Canada could buy a nice house even while doing a minimum labor job but now even the doctors are struggling to buy or rent a house in a big city like Toronto. Agarr top ki padhaai aur bahot mehnat hi karrni hai toh Canada kya ghanta leyne aana hai bachcho ko. Yeh sabb karrke toh India mei hi bahot tarakki karr sakkta hai bandaa. My advice to youngsters is this is India’s time. West is not the west that you had heard about anymore. Tables have been turned. India is going upward and Canada with other western countries heading toward downfall. You may not like my comment but this is a fact.

Not 100% true. I agree with a lot of what you have said but every country has its pros and cons, any western and eastern county falls under this.Things are getting harder sure but in reallity things are becoming similar everywhere. India is easier because there are multiple support systems for kids/young adults compared to canada and they have a better understanding of how stuff works where they grew up, if they dont their family and friends are there to explain/help out. Its a rat race in canada where competition is also becoming cut throat.
What recent times have shown is just that nothing is free.

    • @raihanabbasi3535
      @raihanabbasi3535 ปีที่แล้ว +12

@@howwhat84 my point was - Canada shouldn’t have to be like India or the USA. Not at all! Countries like India, USA, China are massive for businesses and so are the struggles and that makes sense. But I fail to understand this competitiveness or rat race in Canada. Let me give an example - if someone wants to be an actor, he would obviously want to be where all the real action is i.e. LA. He would do anything just to give himself a chance to make it big in Hollywood. He would work as hard, sleep on streets, clean cars, do whatever it takes just for that one opportunity. He might pass or fail but opportunities are there for him. Similarly wanna be a big finance guy, gotta be on Wall Street and in NYC. Canada absolutely has nothing. No big businesses, no big brands of its own. It had Blackberry and Bombardier - they managed to bankrupt those as well. Canada being a first world country got no BMWs, Volvos, Apples, NASA, almost zero start-ups - the list is very long. India on the other hand being one of the fastest developing countries give one a better chance to make it really big. When I say big - I mean real big. Lol!
Anyway, my point is life in Canada should not be like those countries, at all. But, man, government here is just a lost cause.
Btw FYI am in Trade Show business so I know a little bit better what’s really going on ground. Activities happening in my professional world give the whole clear picture.
Damn, I typed too long. Lol! Sorry about that.

Most of the things are true but irrespective of if you do a diploma or a degree course, this is the least important factor which is considered when you apply for any jobs. It all comes down to how you perform in the interview and your willingness to upgrade your skills regularly. I know people who came to canada after 12th for a advanced diploma and now are earning a lot more than people who have engineering degrees.

I am in Canada since 1994. Canada of those days and Canada is today is sky-earth difference. My children then born here and graduated from Universities with better subject and grade. But it was very challenging for me to keep them in track. Now they are working with corporations.. but it is not easy. My nieces are born here and got average grade. They could not manage better job in corporations. Any international student coming here must select high skill subject like IT, Health science, Business (BBA), Electrical Engineering, Chemist etc. and must complete the 4 years bachelor with above average grade like 80 to 90%. It's an uphill task for most international students even for many local born children to complete the University graduation. Cost of study is huge like $20,000 plus a year. So many students they drop from the course due to high cost and pressure on study. After graduation it is hard to find a entry level job like yearly $40,000 (after tax will get around $30,000) for average subject. But high skilled job like IT, BBA, Chemist, Pharmacist, Engineer etc will get around $60,000. However, there is also employer will give preference local grown up graduates who finished their high school from here over to the international student.
However, any new comer must have financial support from home country to finish the graduation. Part time job plus university study will be tough but can do which will meet some cost of living..

Very honest views, this is the reality of all countries, specially developed nations. I lived in Singapore for 17 years with PR status. My life was there was exactly what Paaji explained. Then I decided to surrender PR and leave Singapore to settle back in my own country, india. I’m happy with my decision and live more peaceful and relaxed life than abroad. I think, we all shud travel all over the world but shud study, work and live only in yr home country. Japanese travel all over the world but study, work and live in their own country. Even if they go to other country work, they work in their own national company there and they take pride in it. The pride and respect u can get in yr own country, not in others. If u r a outsider in a country like I was in Singapore, the local people don’t respect u becoz u r taking their livelihood there. So in my opinion, we shud develop such mindset like Japanese, study, work and live in yr own country with pride and travel anywhere the world.

I have lived and worked in multiple countries and now settled in India. What I realised is that If you have talent and work hard you can be successful anywhere in the world. When I started my career there used to be huge differences of salary between India and abroad. Building careers was also easier abroad especially for low skilled jobs. Things have changed now. Many of my friends working in FAANG and other Big Tech companies in India are earning > 50L (in some cases over 1cr). They are not really interested to migrate abroad. Some working at senior level in MNCs even took internal transfer and came back to India.

If you are from trier 2/3 college, you may need to join a IT services (Infosys, TCS etc.) with low salary initially or a startup. With few years of experience you can up skill yourself and interview with big tech. The skills currently in demand are cloud technologies, AI/ML, cybersecurity, big data, full stack + distributed systems etc. If any case you need good coding and system design skills to crack interview for big tech companies.

A skilled professional in India from a good engineering college and 10 plus draws 40-50 LPA easily in India. Which equate to roughly 80-100k CAD, while living in India where his parents can live with him from day 1 or the person or his/her parents can visit each other whenever there is an emergency. Plus, you can be with family and friends in all the events. People today perhaps don’t want to study, they see CANADA as a ticket to success so they consider IELTS as a big thing. Canada for long has been seen as destination for poor, less educated, less skilled, punjabis who are good at working hard but in jobs like truck driving which do not needed much brain.

If you're married and have a kid you will get more benefits. You will fall under a lower tax bracket. If I was married my in hand would have been 3,700 and my insurance would have covered both my spouse and offspring.
But salary ranges vary. A fresher will get 3,500 per month and in hand will be around 2,500 or less.
Savings here and savings in india was same in INR. which is around 1 lakh a month.
But quality of life is not so good. Like no social life, you can't make impulsive purchases because everything is super expensive. Just necessities I am buying.
Whereas in india I used to spend a lot on partying and impulsive purchases.
Also, without experience don't try to come overseas, salary will be very low. Increments and bonus also poor. Also work culture is different. life is not a fairytale that we'll get what we wish for, everything takes time, hard work and efforts and I've set my mind that going to canada or any other country is not easy and i won't get a high salary, Everyone starts from low and with time and experience they earn high salaries if we learn time and money management we can live happily in the beginning and also invest some money for backup so there won't be any hard times come over us just do whatever you are doing with heart and strive for you goals good time will come insha'Allah❤
