When he was refuting razis work ibn taymiyyah said that Allah surrounds the globe 🌎 earth from all angles therefore the earth occupies a space surrounded by Allah. Ibn taymiyyah also was a liar! He lied about there being a concensus regarding the earth being a globe despite mufassireen/scholars before him and after him (imams qurtubi and suyuti to name a couple) confirming that there is consensus the earth is flat. What a liar I'm glad he was tortured in jail. Why do the so called salafis who have never studied his books call this misguided liar shaikh ul islam? Astaghfirullah. Shaykh Ibn Taymiyya claims that Arabs are superior to other races in lineage and descent, which is the view of most scholars, including Imam Ahmad. Doesn’t that contradict the statement of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) that no Arab is superior to non-Arab except in Taqwa? This deeply disturbs me because Ibn Taymiyya and Imam Ahmad are two scholars I respect, and I hate that they have such an opinion. Can you kindly clarify if that makes sense?
