    I love love love this pattern. It’s not hard if anyone struggled with this pattern it is so simple and yet a beautiful pattern that is easy to make simple adjustments. I ve made several headbands and now attempting to make a hat using this pattern with decreases at the end.. I am looking forward to my finished hat Thank You

    I love this stitch. It reminds me of brioche knitting. It would make a nice two color scarf also, with self fringe. Maybe more possibilities for this stitch but I haven't found any so far. Thanks for lovely video.

      Yes sure there must be so much possibilities and I think to try out some as well. It reminds me of brioche too.

    Love this design! Is there any way to lengthen the headband without going back to the beginning, because I was starting my fourth row when you told us we needed more length, and I had made it so that it would have been snug to begin with as I didn't want it slipping off.
    Maybe you could add that info when you start the chaining?

    Hi! I’m a beginner so keep that in mind, this is my 4th little project. I think you were too fast doing the stitches, I could not see where to put my hook, it was very confusing and even though I spent about an hour just looking at that fraction of a second of the video slowed down, I still did the whole thing wrong and I ended up finishing the head band with the wrong technique which looked okay, I just didn’t want to go back and start over again so I just carried on. I think if you make videos for especially beginners, you should do it slowly and show the stitches more clearly. My head circumference is also 56cm and I made 81 stitches like you did in the video but when I sewed it together, it was small. So now all my work was for nothing 😂 other than these negative experiences, It was at least good for practicing.

    I measured my head, but after the first single stitch row, it was far too small! I don't understand how to get it to fit.

    • @PassionateCrafter
      @PassionateCrafter  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The foundation chain is usually more loose and when you make the first row it comes out tighter. Try making the foundation chain with a size bigger hook then switch back to the smaller hook.

    How do you trim/ hide the excess yarns?

    • @PassionateCrafter
      @PassionateCrafter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Weave all ends in, after I decide which side will be the front for my headband

    Do you ch 1 before turning? I noticed in this tutorial that you didn’t ch 1 before turning your work but in the video showing how to SC in the back bar you did ch 1 before turning your work. Thank you

    • @PassionateCrafter
      @PassionateCrafter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For the headband I am not ch1 because it is more flat and beautiful finish at te end. Just be sure not to skip the first sc.

    Is bulky yarn what you used in video? Really neat pattern thanks

    • @PassionateCrafter
      @PassionateCrafter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is worsted 4 weight yarn merino yarn but with bulkier yarn is easier to crochet this headband. And before you start just measure the chains on you head and than make 1.5 inches more for the twist

    Beautiful and very simple to do. Just one thing would like to say is when you say back loop in this pattern it is really called the 3rd. Front loop because a back loop would be on other side in back. Just want to help because was a little confusing.

    • @PassionateCrafter
      @PassionateCrafter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lana grossa merino yarn, but any bulky yarn will be perfect. This pattern is easier to work with bulky yarn than thinner yarn

    • @PassionateCrafter
      @PassionateCrafter  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At the beginning for me was the same, but when you get used to pattern you will find perfect way for yourself in crocheting the back stitch. I try not to pull the yarn tightly so the back stitches are easier to work with
