Watching professional trading videos and most especially connecting with the right person the digital world is full of in unreal people I met some of them during my success journey. I felt same way when I started especially when you use demo account you might be winning but when you put in real money you start losing I understand and I pass through it all. I’m very happy I’m profitable now.

I have no idea what you went through but my friend has come to accept that the only way to remain sane in the markets is mechanical system. No human being will beat the ups and downs of volatility. I'm willing to be wrong but I don't think that the big money folks are watching the screens or rely on their emotions go on a roller-coaster with peoples' money. Maybe something to explore.
You live and Learn. I blown two funded $50K accounts with Apex. It's really making me self reflect and be able to see my trading mistakes even more. I got caught up in revenge trading and not walking away when I should have.

It's just unfortunate that despite my little knowledge of chart patterns, support and resistance indicators, I'm still not a profitable trader. Just not sure how to use risk management. Exactly, a good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisor, but over the past 7years, I’ve had a financial advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio and I’ve made over $3 million in gains… might not be a lot but i'm financially secure and that's fine by me.

The biggest reason I believe many traders don't make it is time and dedication. You will NEED the time to dive into trading to go through all the mistakes and to learn from them. Everyone starts out a losing trader. From there you learn from your mistakes and begin to become a breakeven trader. From there you will gain a lot of confidence from transitioning from a losing trader to a breakeven trader over a longer term. Once a breakeven trader you have all the opportunity to tweak your trading to allow yourself to finally be profitable over the long run. It does take a lot of time, learning, and dedication. You just have to be willing to learn from mistakes and continue to see what works and what doesn't to become a consistently profitable trader.

Everything started to come together for me when I started backtesting and journaling. I hated to journal but it really is necessary. You really learned a lot about yourself psychologically. The backtesting will help confidence in the strategy and show you how well it works in certain market conditions. I would also journal for each backtest trade also and you'll learn over a series of trades how your psychology is, why set ups failed, why some worked, did it hit the profit target or stop loss, ect. It really is about having a plan and rules and sticking to them strictly. I noticed the more strict I am on my entries and more patient I am the higher win rate I have but sometimes that involves not taking a trade for the day or maybe missing a move because entry critera wasnt met and thats ok. Ive learned you dont have to catch every move. Just stick to your set ups and thats it.
