We were the first divers back after COVID closures, literally. Great dive site, but we were also there 4 days after a "hurricaine" which dropped vis to 15-20 feet. 2 hour drive from Cabo resorts area.
Wonderful video. Love the area and it bring me back some good memories when I was studding Marine Biology at the Baja California' State University around 1983. We frequently took trips to Los Frailes near Cabo Pulmo to collect marine life samples for our lab. Great work Matthias.
this, approachability is what makes Pulmo king, and I say this as someone who lives in Tropical Queensland. A few dives out to the GBR here and i might as well have put the time and money into going to Baja... well it feels like that sadly. XD
I waited 2 years and I'm not in the midst of a tourist hotspot like you predicted at 5:15 :D Not sure why you share this though. If I find a good spot that is not popular, the last thing that would come to my mind would be to share it on the internet... If I share it I know it will become trash within 5-10 years
