I love how almost everyone didn't notice how the Original Sprites are ALSO 2D renditions of 3D Sonic Models, which just makes things look way better, without of course mentioning the beautiful Stylization of the animations and sprites as a whole
This game looks much more original than other remakes/reimaginations/retellings/other forms of not adding anything new. I'm impressed by the fact that this developer wasn't using clickteam (or whatever all those pixelated games are made with).
Hopefully, the age of identical EXE games ends soon.

The aesthetics here remind me of Tails’ Nightmare or whatever it’s called
same here. These sprites look... if not self-made, then at least self-animated. Plus very distinct from your average Sonic.EXE game. That's a massive win imo.
