@@socratesapprentice5440 unfortunately by voting we don't take responsibility of the party we vote for. Ultimately in democracy the one who gets the majority forms the government. Further every 5 years the government changes. But marriage is a different aspect, 16 to 22/24 is the period for education, a year of earning will help one to understand the cost of living as well as the living standards. Marriage post that will help in many ways, and even if the marriage is disturbed one can take up a job and secure financial independence. Education and financial independence helps one to be independent.
