It's great to see more mods get completed, especially after a lot of them got cancelled in 2022. It's just great to see less cancellations (at least not from drama), hope the community manages to keep this up, especially since recently it was becoming a little more chill (at least if you don't count every Twitter argument as "drama" lol).
For sure. Mods in 2023 have been mostly amazing, and 2024 is looking to be just as, if not more fantastic :)

I like to place certain FNF mods into eras, and this year has been the era for reboots.
Just in case you’re wondering: I also have eras for 2021 and 2022.
October 2020-February 2021: the Early Days.
February 2021-January 2022: the Golden Age
January 2022-March 2023: the EXE Apocalypse
And now we’re in the Age of Reboots, I expect this to end sometime next summer.
Mario's Madness V2 is already set to come out this year. (November 2023)

Lullaby and Mario’s Madness I’m really looking forward to. My only concerns are always changing the songs. Most of the V1s for MM were already good like Powerdown, IHY and Apparition.
Its so awesome for mods getting completed, Im so excited to see 5 mods in 2024. The FNF community is getting better, not toxic. Im not talking about drama or toxic in FNF community. Im talking about getting better in FNF community

My 5 mods im waiting for are hotline 024,Mario's madness,17 bucks,Sunday's salty night and funkin at freddy's which i didn't like but ended up enjoying the songs so yeah and i have a few more to hope like the holiday mod,don't get spooked,in the galaxy and a few extras so yeah i have a list of mods i hope are will get updated in the future and i know some of these are not coming but come on if b3 comes back with a spinoff of the main mod then v4 of b3 will still come plus we have some other stuff like fanmods to hold back on

Late 2020 - FNF was first released, and people thought it was cool but really there's not much to say
2021 - FNF grew super popular with lots of early mods. Things like psych engine and kade engine were released too. Imo it hasn't hit its peak yet though
2022 - So around early-mid 2022 was when FNF was at its peak. Cool mods everywhere and the old ones from early-mid 2021 got updates that kept them alive. I would say that the community was kinda at its worst though with lots of drama
2023 - FNF declined, all the people that came because it was a huge game are gone, but the people who were actually part of the community stayed, which is the reason FNF is still alive. There are also HUGE UPDATES to old mods from as far back as early 2022. I believe there are also videos on yt talking about the original FNF game itself making good progress on its full version, but idk if this is real
Early 2024 - Yeah its cool but at the time of writing this there's not much to say about this. There are mods still waiting on huge updates though so gotta wait for that
it honestly baffles me that some mods have a way larger team than the main game's developers THEMSELVES

Awesome video, Meta! Always on point with whatever is coming out next. Some of these new (and old OG mods) seem to really make FNF what it is today - or what it will be. I would love to see some of the really popular well executed fan made mods become a part of the actual FNF game. The work that went into those mods really helped FNF get to where it is today, imo...
Thank you Yep! That would be really cool to see a mod or two in the official FNF game. Maybe as a bonus week from the Kickstarter. Regardless, the mod portal they're working on seems very intuitive for OG players and community integration as well :)

I think hypno lullaby v3/v2 is gonna release on October 31st of 2024 because they release the last 2 things in October so

Indie cross v2 really worries me the most. THINK about it , it’s gonna be very hard to be on the same level as v1 and I don’t think it’ll surpass v1. And they don’t have Moro so most of them cutscenes won’t be the same. If they wanted to put other indie songs they could’ve put them on the bonus songs.that’s another thing the songs some of the remakes aren’t that good compared to the original. Maybe I’m picky because dont like the teasers that they shown us yk there’s no attack button nor the animations look over top amazing like v1 but i hope i get my expectations blown away. Not sayin the new lead is bad it’s just that nothing would be the same nor i think it’ll live up to v1 .

When the hypnos lullaby restoration came on, it reminded me that i've heard from somewhere that the sonic.exe mod (one with xenofanes) is getting an official revive, is that still happening? Or at all true?
