Very nice shave, Man!
Excellent video for anyone starting out my friend! There's so much good information in there. I was surprised not to see the Gillette NEW Short Comb brought out for a discussion of clamping. Though I have many DE razors in my collection, I think the NEW SC is at the pinnacle of 3-piece DE razor design.
I need to try some 365 blades! I've always found Baili razors are good value and pretty well made, like you said a good startup razor. So far I have not had any of my Zamac heads break, I've had my 34c for 10 years and used it exclusively for at least 3 years, maybe I've been lucky. These days I collect more modern razors made from long life metals, ie AL, SS & Ti and a couple vintage Brass ones.👍🤠🤟
Nice shave
Absolutely love the 365 by Gillette, almost my go to and quite durable too.
It sure has been working very well for me with several different razors!
Consider trying out Parker 78R. It is their new version head and I think you will love it.
That one does seem to have more under-blade support than their other models. I might just like it better.
That looks like the bd 176 instead of the 171. The 171 has the ends of blade exposed, less than 10.$ on Amazon.
Hey shg., try your old scraper w/400+ shaves & see how that Bali dances around. Good luck w/that 👍
This video is so cringe and full of misinformation it's appalling.
Well it seems that we each have different experiences.
If you would share some specifics, then perhaps this could become constructive.
Just had a shave with sea spice lime. I used a brand new Nacet in a Mercur 34c. It's one of the closest shaves I've ever had. Fantastic soap and scent.
