Absolutely stunning! It's hard to tell the clay and the natural flower apart... I need to make these as I keep killing off the real plant! love your videos
Just what I have been looking for. I bought stained glass orchid at a price. Wanted to make from clay...and here you got there before me! Big thank you. A pansy flower would be lovely!
I enjoyed this so very much. As a long time art instructor myself, I was so impressed with your teaching technique. Your voice is very soothing, your instructions are clear and precise, and you present the instructions in such a relaxed manner, ie you speak slowly enough that even beginners would be able to keep up, but not so slowly as to be boring. I’m really looking forward to watching many more of your videos. Thank you for your willingness to share.
Thank you Sherry, this is so lovely to hear, I love making my videos and it gives me even more encouragement when hearing comments like yours, it is very much appreciated, have a great day 😊

Thank you, you are very welcome, they are super delicate I know but in the lighter clay they work great and mine are still going strong, they just need a little dust every now and again, thank you, Sarah ❤️
I would love to see you make a poppy. I know they’re simple, but they are so beautiful. Also, i have a niece who loves tulips. I would like to make a painting for her of tulips on canvas. What i have in mind is maybe a nine by twelve canvas. I want three tulips, placed at an angle from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. I want the tulips to be hmmm, i think one yellow, with the other two red, with touches of yellow in the center of the petals and at the top edges of the tulips. I see the stems as quite long, with maybe a single leaf. What i haven’t figured out yet is (1) should i make the tulips, then glue them on? Or do i attempt forming them directly onto the prepared canvas? I would love to see you do a demo on this. Thank you so much for considering my idea.
Sounds like you have a plan, I personally would make them flat and then glue them on once dry so they are secure. Yes a poppy would’ve lovely too 😊 Thanks
I've been watching for a new posting, and up it popped. Making Orchids is a challenge, but you did it beautifully. Thank you! you are my muse. You are so creative. Happy New Year!-
@@RedRockingBird I can't find the clay anywhere else but Etsy and that have no sales. They also only have one small size. I noticed in your video you had a big size. Where can I buy that?
Hi Sarah, thank you for this awesome video! I have been thinking of trying to make flowers with home made air dry clay but not using Das for it as I think it would fall apart. Lol. I wish I could get the Smarta air dry clay over here in the UK, as it's way too expensive to have it shipped here from the US, which is a shame.Thank you so much for this video. It has encouraged me to attempt making flowers. You are so inspirational and I love your videos.
Thank you, I am happy to hear you are inspired, there will be lots more videos soon with regular air dry clay. I am hoping that Smarta will start to sell on Amazon or similar, they are a fairly new company but I really do love their clay. Currently shipping to the UK is a bit steep, so lets hope that can change soon, many thanks for your valued feedback ♥️
I’ve been using hobby craft own brand of air dry clay and I’ve found I can roll it quite thing without it cracking and if you buy the white one it dries really white so if you’re printing on it, it looks really good. 😘😘
This was really good Sarah. We don't get DAS or Smarta in India but will try with which air dry clay I get. I know it's achievable with the home made cold porcelain clay surely. Thanks again pretty.
I liked the look of the Smarta clay so I followed the link. Almost £23 to send to the UK from Turkey! Needless to say I didn't purchase any. However if you come across a UK based seller with reasonable shopping costs I would be happy to buy via your recommendation.
