@@zleeven not really since the main card you need to get things going is junk speeder and synchro chase doesn’t protect junk speeder from getting ashed, gamma, veiled etc. which is the reason why meta synchro decks don’t use it.

@@billynoise In this type of deck you need Junk Speeder to be your kickoff, there’s nothing wrong with that. The only thing is that it’s ridiculous to have your whole 40 card deck just to try to get him out. A good bit of your cards should be but not all. You will get a bad hand sometimes and there’s nothing you can do about that. Have some “fail safes” as I like to call them. List you deck and I can tell you what you should keep and take out. Do it like Junk Converter x3 Junk Warrior x3 etc
Man, Screw Code Talker, i make an entire deck having Decode Talker as my Ace mostly using Link Generation Deck (Not meta worthy, but i don't care i love his design im using him).
Yep and its really tough when ppl ash blossom or niburu etc. Junk synchro was the first deck i built here and i feel bad when i win against it theres so many flaws especially if they dont go first
Basically all anti combo/1st hand cards will completely throw this deck off the worst part is it needs to go first majority of the time. Fun deck but it has way too many weaknesses

@@marcrocksus yeah ive found having 2 junk speeders and possibly called by grave helps. Having other meta cards like niburu and ash will mess this deck up since it needs to focus on getting its monsters out first

Im kinda new player and trying to learn synchro dekcs but it's kinda frustrating because the combo is so difficult and i just could not figure out the basic combo i mean what combo should i go first and whats the basic combo of this deck for an example?
If you can make Junk Speeder go for him he is your combo starter you can go into so many good synchro monsters because he specials so many tuners from your deck! Something I recommend to use would be Red Supernova Dragon because you can make him with just junk speeders effect if you just want a strong level 12 monster without doing a long combo
if you get any spells for searching get junk converter and use its effect along with one tuner and get junk synchron then summon junk synchron and revive converter then go into librarian
Dw it took a while for me to figure out the basic combo as well and I'm currently on the phase of learning the possible contingencies. The Junk Speeder basic combo route sadly requires either a versatile hand (e.g. you have good searchers or setup cards) or the perfect hand (most yugitubers who showcase Synchron/Stardust deck only show perfect hands and no interruption plays, which is frankly annoying as the deck can brick and at a frequency that may annoy you at times), and it is unfortunately also the most vulnerable phase as a single Ash or Nibiru can halt or stop this combo completely. If you have an inadequate deck that won't allow for contingency combo routes to your wincon, or if you're unfamiliar with how to pull them off (very dependent on your decklist as there is a budget version but the "optimized" version contains a lot of URs and cards not included in the Junk/Warrior/Synchron and Synchron/Stardust secret packs), pray that you are very good at improvisation and thinking 2-3 steps ahead as finding one on-the-fly is gonna be mentally taxing as you'll run into almost the same vulnerabilities as the Junk Speeder phase, unless you're running really good protection cards in the form of hand traps (Ash Blossom), main deck cards (Cyberse Synchron, Starlight Road, Synchro Chase, Starlight Junktion, Solemn Judgment), and your synchro monsters (Herald of Arc Light, Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon, all the Stardust variants).

I mean even one handtrap can destroy your whole combo like negating junk speeder destroys you or something else but if youre able to do your whole combo you have so many options to go and that's what i like about this deck.
Late reply but I think yes cuz in Yu-Gi-Oh 2011 world championship:Over The Nexus it worked on my junk warrior and honestly combined that with swords of revealing light and two calculators really made junk warrior a real threat sometimes
Bro... ok so I run combo XYZ/ynchro deck (mostly synchro), I've got bout 11 total sync mon out of like 40+ mon, tell me how I draw hand of 4 tuner mon nd a gagaga mag, the ONE mon in my deck that can't be used for sync summons, nd I drew 2 tuner mon after...... yea it definitely inconsistent ASF but still love it
You got literally the strongest opener your deck can have, and your opponent had a terrible opener and no hand traps or negates. You also prolonged lethal to summon unnecessary stuff. Reported for slow play.
So cool to see a field filled up with Synchro monsters instead of Link or Fusion.

Shooting Riser Dragon changed its level to 2. So Junk Warrior recieved its 2100 atk too.
