I would suggest that the rocket need be made out of tier 3 and fully upgraded materials. It does need to survive going into deep space after all. And at least a chest full of food/drink wouldn't hurt for the long voyage back home.
@@lucasmitchell9027 Yup, that's pretty much exactly what I was getting at when I commented on Scrpamans video, nearly a year ago, when I was trying to get him to make something like he did in this video lol.
Hey Scrapman - if you are needing lots of Component Kits - > this is how you do it. 1. Lay down soil 2. Plant Pineapple or Broccoli only 3. Barricade the farm off completely using Tier 3 metal 4. Never harvest the Pineapples 5. Snipe all the bots that invade and collect their kits So why this works is the bots will spawn multiple times throughout the day, especially if you plant 6 pineapple every 4 hours until you have filled up your farm plots. Literally they will invade every 4 hours. You can space the hours out to what you like, for example - every hour or two. Planting 6 at a time will initiate a raid. Doing 6 at a time will initiate a raid for every time you planted 6 crops. But you must never harvest the crops. Make sure the land on the side of your farm is flat and you can use RamTank to smash the bots. You can also create auto turrets with mountable spudguns and sensors to automatically shoot invaders. That way you can sit up in a tree and watch them get mowed down. Why you might want to try this out is because I estimate you will need at least 12 fully upgraded thrusters to lift up RamTank and this is the quickest way to get kits, literally 20+ times faster than any other method. You may even need 24 thrusters to achieve any good acceleration, so this is probably the method of choice.
(Repost)Scrapman, you should put explosives on the end-series rocket so that when you up after a while you can activate the explosives and blow up the rocket with you... this will be such a great ending to the series!
Wow, you've actually unboxed all the rare garments without the need to invest in broccoli! I hope you get all the epic garments before Chapter 2 comes 👕.
Since garment boxes are stronger than tier 3 metal, I've always wanted to see someone use it for a wall, or barrier, and put it to the test. It if nothing else, provides a use for it when you cannot make more garments.
@@Mr_Reaps25 Absolutely, your right, and they are invincible, but it was more about pointing out a use for garment boxes that seems to slip under the radar. Most people don't realize how durable they are, and they can be used!
YES! This is pretty much the exact type of thing that I've been trying to get Scrapman to make for nearly a year (Since SMS86). If he adds glass to the open sections and uses a mountable spudgun, then not even the explosive tapebots will be an issue anymore. The difference is night and day. You could literally make it out of cardboard and it would work.
Hard to aim with mountable spud gun tho, explosive tapebots still wreck everything inside teir 3 metal, as you can see all of his controls were destroyed
@@edmarprades7848 Yeah aiming is a bit of a pain, but it's really not too bad once you get used to it. The explosive tapebots can only destroy things if they can shot at you and with the vehicle that I described they don't do that. It's a lot like being invisible.

Then drive up the outer part of the map with a bunch of engines, an insane amount of fuel and with your main vehicle. I suggest using suspension glithes as well, but that's up to you I guess. I think you should make it a big rocket, and give it a little like "crew quarters" area, where you have the chefbot, maybe a tiny little farm, like 2-4 plots, and essentially treat it as if you'll be in space for a long, long time. Go crazy with it
If you are making a rocket, the rule should be that it needs to be made entirely out of the SPACESHIP block in the craftbot for any and all building blocks and any glass has to be the strongest glass. If your worried about a sudden ending you can start new worlds on death untile you reach the goal Bonus alternatively you could make it co-op and allow the revival Baggett as the only method of respawn
Scrap man you should start a nomadic boat based survival series. Where you get to spend limited time on land and you can't travel farther than a certain distance each time from the boat except maybe for trader , packaging and the ware houses.
I really like this shield design. It makes me want to hop into creative to see if I can make it sensor-based rather than button base so that I can make it move when I walk torwards the censor so the player model can act like an analog stick on a gamepad. Along with that, I'd want to give it omnidirectional movement where the wheels can turn 90 degrees so the side becomes the front if need be. Basically, make it a square. It would spin, strafe, forward or back based on if I am standing in the front, back, left, right or one of the corners of the wall. Basically, this makes me wanna see if I can make it kinda walk with me while I walk. Standing still in the middle would make it stand still too, again, just like that of an analog stick or 8-directional D-PAD (diagonals make it spin).
You now have extra armor! The durability value of the garment boxes is on part with tier 3 metal. Just saying if you want something relatively cheap that you can add on to your shield wall that will block explosions with some distance, stack on some garment boxes you can't use and benefit.
Next series: co op (or not) underground base. There is a spot in the qater treatment plant that has a square hole in it, with tons of space. If you fill it up its the perfect space for an underground base.
Probably because it sounds cooler to have it as a mobile shield rather than and actual vehicle. But yeah, it sounds way more practical the way you thought about it.
I propose you check all the holes in the floor and get in all the nooks and crannies, maybe even find cracked walls? Get all those secret and hidden chests 😁
This idea of a moving shield would fit even better on a multiplayer gameplay. one could focus entirely on driving while the other can focus on shooting.
You can use those level 3 pistons to have a vertical opening door rather than a door on a bearing. It would close faster and should help with it getting stuck.
You should use sensors on either side with the perfect range so that if you are in the middle, it goes forward and turns if you go to the sides. Also, put a barrier on the back so you don't get shot from behind.
Really impressive build! I like my seat-based tanks better from a style perspective, but no doubt this is cheaper and simpler. You don't have to worry about mountable spudguns getting destroyed. In fact almost everything you can think of that would be reasonably exposed to a tapebot's shots can't be broken by it. (E.g. any kind of chest, motors, pistons...) But you're right about red bots. Their explosions sometimes can blow stuff up behind Tier-3 metal. If that doesn't work for them, the explosion can knock your build over, and the next shot will hit the top or bottom of the build. Either you get the drop on them and you win, or they get the drop on you and they win. Simple as that.
Thank you Scrap Man I broke down laughing When you said to show you the power of flex tape I saw the shield in half I literally said the exact same thing as you were saying it and it was so funny cuz I hadn't watched the video beforehand that's what made it so funny obviously
