Is anyone able to translate what she says between "Sie hat nichts damit zu tun" and "Sucht mich am Himmel dort"? In English, where she'd be saying "It's meeeeee!"
Was there a reason this production was so dark and didn't use the spotlight alot? Every video I've seen defying gravity is very very dark and the show seems to be a bit of lacking of color I still love it tho
It just comes off dark on the recording, it's fine in person. Many of the bootlegs of the old Stuttgart production were done by the same person with the same camera, and this is simply the image quality that camera produced. I saw the Stuttgart production a bunch of times back in the day, and I've also seen Wicked on Broadway and West End, and the lighting was more or less identical between all the different productions.

In German it’s “Mich sucht ihr. MICH” which would translate to “you are looking for me. ME”
