I was a video retrieval specialist for the FBI... I have retrieved thousands of video from various surveillance systems... This is a unbelievable system for the price.. I am very impressed at the ease of all the products.. Wyze please don’t start charging for a cloud service..... You will definitely bury the drop cam if you keep things going ...👍

5 cams $20ea + 5 32GB SD cards $10 ea + 3 Sense kits $20 ea = only $210! I am so impressed with the Wyze App, how well all of these products work and the professional customer service I received via the online chat feature. And to top it all off.... NO monthly subscription fees!!!
I wish I was the venture capitalist who fronted Wyze with $25M. These three former Amazon employees are going to steal the entire market share in this space once their outdoor cams become available.

I feel that the concept is good, and there should definitely be one for everyone. However, I feel that they should have offered a better way to charge the battery or add a reusable charging feature. So that leaves you to junk the product and buy a NEW one after the battery expires. OR damage the product by opening it up and replacing the battery yourself. Just something to think about.

I like doing the agreement programs. Ive used Brinks and now after 3 years my price was lowered to 40$ a month. im month to month full monitoring service with great cameras and sensors. They have technitions come by just to upgrade my equipment for free without raising my bill. I enjoy the security after i got broken into. Plus i never need to worru about replacing or fixing it. It all is done for me for free and I get 15% off my home owners insurance. Its not much lol, but hey its worth it lol. I do enjoy what this system brings for its price though. WYZE seems like a good system fore sure on a few other things inside the house.

I am trying to understand the purpose of the new motion sensor.. If the camera already comes with a motion sensor.. why do you need this extra one? - I get it will trigger the camera to start recording...but so will the integrated motion sensor in the camera.

I used it in my side yard, I put the sensor low so it would trigger when a person walked by, it eliminates false alarms from bugs at night. A more useful use of the sensors would be using them to trigger the Wyze light bulbs or the Wyze smart outlets.

FYI, Wyze runs off the AWS servers... so, the day you need it to really work will be just one of the many days when the AWS system is having a meltdown. I lost track of how many times since July 2021 we were screwed because of those AWS outages and so we gave up. Luckily, a lot of the stuff we bought had a 180 day return policy so almost of it went back. Wyze is cheap for a reason. Just be aware of that.

But now they have developed very advanced and easy-to-use applications. Suppose I have a wireless home system at home, if you are interested, you can go to the Kangaroo website, yes it is a direct sales site, but also there is detailed information and consultants who will help you with your protection.

I wonder how long the battery operated motion detection and opn/close sensor lasts it was never mentioned and can you replace the battery in both sensors if so and they last long it will be a killer security system. I own 2 Wyze Came so far installing the second one tomorrow 8:24:2019 I'm impressed with my front door Wyze Cam so far. I went to buy one at Home Depot that has displays for all major higher prices Cameras except this one, I found they have 60 in stock online in the store in Brea, Southern Ca!ifornia found that they haven't setup a display for them the clerk said but I knew they wanted to sell the standard over priced security cameras for more profit. If the standard customer was a security camera with included 32GB Micro SD included for just $34.99 they would kill all sales of the other over priced Cameras is my opinion why they haven't displayed them.

They're so reasonably priced I wouldn't even worry about the battery. Batteries are expensive specially when you're talkin about special types of batteries; the type of battery that would go in one of these sensors for example. Once the battery died I would just buy a new sensor kit. I own a wyzecam V2 I have had it for about a year now and I absolutely love it. Soon I will be picking up these sensors and maybe try the light bulbs as well. Nice video by the way I am a new subscriber. One question real quick. What is the difference between the wyze cam V2 and the motion sensor? Is the motion sensor you put outside? Is that actually a camera as well? I know the door clips sync with the wyze cams
