Incredible coverage ! Been multiple times & every time I notice something new. Tulips in bloom (spring) and Christmas are my favorite times at Biltmore. We stayed at the Biltmore Inn in 2005 (for a golden anniversary) and Paul was allowed to play the grand piano. I just remember the irony of so many bathrooms unavailable to the public and the tiny guest rooms at the Inn. I did a travel stint in spring of 2019, stayed in a " she shed " in Laurel Park & used a coworkers pass to visit Biltmore often. You did an amazing job covering this gem !

It is just wonderful that the Biltmore Estate allowed you to video your tour. We have been annual passholders for over 20 years, to visit and support this wonderful by gone era!

My sweetheart and I went there about 18 years ago. As I remember, we had a live tour and it wasn't anything as complete as this. I would like to go back one day and see it all. Thank you for the memories and the new sites.

It’s been about 2 years since we had been, but I do remember the burger at Cedric’s. The Vanderbilt house was so beautiful. We stayed at Abbington Green Bed & Breakfast, which had the same architect as the Biltmore. That whole area is beautiful, especially in the fall.

Great video! I grew up in Asheville but now live in South Carolina. The last time we visited Biltmore Estate was when Downton Abbey was on display. They have added quite a lot since then. I hope you have enjoyed your visit.

We have gone to Asheville and The Biltmore many times. My favorite time is during Christmas. They have a tree in every room decorated with beautiful ornaments. I love all the door and window hardware knowing they were hand crafted. The small details of the home is fascinating.

Enjoyed your video! The Biltmore House is an absolute national treasure and a reminder of the Gilded Age! We have enjoyed it on multiple visits. We always also learn new history about the house and the era it was designed and built every time we visit! Thanks for the video!!!

You would enjoy traveling through Pisgah National Forest in Brevard, my home. Beautiful Looking Glass falls. On your way to Brevard I highly recommend stopping by Sierra Nevada Brewery. It's just past the Asheville Airport. It's the Biltmore of Breweries. Well worth the stop. Great editing and camera/sound work. You are becoming a pro!

Wow, that was incredible! Excellent videography and coverage. I especially enjoyed the vanilla ice cream parlor, of course. The herding dogs were a real treat. My neighbor used to train and use herding dogs for her sheep. It always amazed me how they worked. The Biltmore and Vanderbilt estate were like a fantasy come true. I truly enjoyed this video and plan to watch it again plus share it with our dtrs.

As you look thru the house, just absorb the craftsmanship, and think of the tools available at the time. Basically hand tools only! The styling, grandeur, the builders took pride in their work. And the architect , wow, all hand drawn, hand measured, hand built! Amazing. Do we have craftsmanship like that remaining in America today?

    • @LivinRVision

Same in the UK when you go to visit Castles and Palaces of gone by era, you wonder how they managed all the beautiful woodwork and designs with the tools they had, it’s craftsmanship at its best, which has been nearly completely lost these days.

This was a really great tour! NEVER schedule a visit during August...the hottest month and the Biltmore still does not have AC! If you're back this way some December, you should visit again. The glass rotunda is filled with poinsettias and they have live music there for their candlelight tours. It's incredibly decorated for Christmas...the prettiest time ever. Also in Charlotte, NC, at the Billy Graham Library is a wonderful Christmas Tour. Y'all did an absolutely brilliant job on this. I'm so glad you got the see all the azaleas and flowers in bloom! Have a great week! Jane in SC❤🙏

Lived in a nearby town. We had annual passes to Biltmore and went there often. Cedric's Tavern was our favorite place to eat. Have the neatest picture of our dog, sitting and looking at the statue of the girl with the ball. He was waiting for her to throw it. Great memories of visiting Biltmore. Glad you were able to visit there.

Great video ! We were there about 3 years ago in Late November when it was cold and rainy. We didn't get to see everything you did so it was really nice to see more. As I'm sure you found out it's quite dark inside and taking pho9tos and video is a real challenge plus we were there at night. Even with all of the Christmas decorations lite up it was still way to dark to take any decent photos. Looking forward to see where you're headed next. Safe traveling.

BUSTED!!! It was ME who changed Brian’s settings! 😂😅😮. This estate reminds me of Hearst Castle, here in CA. Such beautiful gardens there, right? Just wouldn’t like the humidity on the east coast. Thanks 🙏 for sharing another great Saturday morning video. ❤ 💐. Oh…another comment before I sign off …. both Biltmore and Hearst estates are so dark inside. Kind of depressing to me. (Just my opinion!) 😊

THE WALL - Not sure if your Trolley driver told you about the wall. It was not only a retaining wall to hold the wall of dirt up but if you walked on it. You would see the steps were oddly spaced in the center and flat on each side. It was designed for horses. The steps are the exact spacing for a horses stride and that flat on each side would be for the wagon wheels. So interesting and thought out. Its so funny, this is the 4th place that we have been to within the same days as you guys :)
