- At the caliber of play that we see at the Overwatch League, each player plays an important part in a team's failure or success. While some players are pulling off flashy plays and making it into montages, there exist micro-moments that can go unnoticed, but nonetheless are still worthy of praise.
In today's video, we showcase a set of pro Overwatch micro plays that you might have missed made by the likes of GZ Charge's Chara to SF Shock's Viol2t.

@@Ocaz oh yeah I 100% agree with that, Moira is probably like my 6th most played character so I understand the learning curve pretty well. I was just saying "easy" because people like to discredit characters who don't require intense mechanical skill.
@@Ocaz If people played her moira, they'd know how to deal with her, but since they're just like "ShE's BraiNdeaD" they actually never bother to learn anything about her.
If you guys wanna be impressed, go watch bdosins moira. He really opened my eyes with his moira gameplay.
OW Kiddo oh yea I follow a lot of Moira players, including him. I’m glad people are finally starting to appreciate the skills needed for supports other than Ana and zen. Mechanical skill isn’t everything.
It's a shame how many people don't know Moira's heals are slightly passive
True. I sometimes see my support wasting juice in a situation where if you stopped healing the passive will do the work

i once played as moira with someone who didn't understand that her healing wasn't unlimited, yelling at me to just hold left click

Sometimes I feel like the only Moira player who knows about the HoT element. As someone who has healed in WoW since vanilla, and someone who loves "Heal over time" effects, I try to make the most out of it.
Not at Viol2t's level, of course...but this was really nice to observe.

Seeing these micro plays is awesome. Massive ults and DPS popping off is entertaining, but it's plays like these that win games.

compare it to almost every other support - she has an easy escape, needs no aim across all her abilities, and has very forgiving healing
nobody says that. if you actually have a brain , what most people say is that her skill floor is too low, not the skill ceiling . meaning she is the easiest support to get a certain considerable amount of value even if you are a braindead bronze player.

@@agenzmain6146 yea but her skill ceiling is also considerably lower than most other characters as well. (especially her mechanical skill ceiling which is what most people are talking about), with moira, all you really need is overall knowledge and awareness of what's going on in the teamfight to choose between 2 options, heal, or damage, so it really isn't very complicated most of the time. And then her orb is basically pretty obvious to get good value out of just throw it at team mates for an easy 300 healing when a few of them are low.

We seriously need more videos like this that highlight amazing Moira play. I'm a masters-level Moira main and I get shit on *CONSTANTLY* for it... but nobody seems to complain much about my 13kheals/10min average in the middle of a game. Moira is such an underappreciated character... even though she's definitely not as complex as, say, Ana.
That’s masters tho not every composition is meant for a Moira there definitely better supports especially at that elo
I was playing Moira in a match ( silver tho :'( ) and died like once in three rounds, constatly kept up the tanks, peeled for the mercy, had gold heals, and then the sigma decides to say he got no healing, and people proceed to thank the mercy tho. I'm like what the fuck. Then I'm the only one who gets a card from the team, for healing, even tho we won. My point is, yeah, she is underappreciated as a support.

@@anthonymasterofthedarkarts52 Lol no, that was a typo. But from context, you'd hope that one would realize from context that it was a typo and that I meant 13k per 10, not 13k a minute... Or, alternately, that I missed a decimal. I'll edit the comment now that I've seen that typo.

I think these micro plays should be posted to instagram. Micro Plays are one of the biggest things a lot of OW players tend to ignore over things like ult economy for the sake of just focusing on the Rock/Paper/Scissors aspect of the game. In OW, 80-90 of the game is rotation and angles, and micro plays show that.

The mei wall trick that seominsoo did is not new. Rascal did it first against london spitfire on 2019 playoffs final map
that "trick" is super old and is very common in a bap Mei match-up so who cares

I wish I had their Iq when it ones to my tests
You might be as intelligent as them. But their fast decision making and fast reaction time help them perform the plays that you see. That's why coaches dont play. A person can be good and can have the knowledge/intelligence to do the right thing but might fail while under pressure (in the live match).

Damn, these are all things I expected most Moira's would be taking advantage of, with the only difference being in intentional ult-trading (take damage, risking earlier DPS ults, in order to beat the race to Coalescence) and team positioning and pressure. While doubtless focusing on the many of the worst of Crimzo's plays, his and Viol2t's look like night and day.
I play Moira a lot, so I think I'll have to learn from this one.
Love this! Definitely would like to see more. In response to Note’s Sigma clip I think he’s trying to take an off angle to do some dmg? Seems like it was mistimed since shock has coal up and all the dmg he does is just moot. Might’ve been a better play if coal wasn’t there. Not sure words from a gold player tbf
Coal healing doesnt give ult to moira but does to sigma. I think thats what he was trying?

never wanted to play moira before until now
the wall doesnt really block the l.o.s. of immortality, it actually freezes it(just like turrets), at 1:55 you can see it freeze(needs to be on the object you are trying to freeze).
If a Enemy Mei’s Wall covers the drone, its completely “disabled”, as it requires LOS (Line of Sight) for it to work, so if the wall is placed over the drone it is “disabled”.
ADC Rengar I would say disable but you can see the freeze animation. So it’s frozen(without the additional duration).

I've done some research to find that feature but I still haven't found how you can add "chapters" to videos. Can someone tell me ? Would be quite useful
This is done by adding timestamps to the description of a video.
His stats are mostly due to Moth spending more time on speed because they're playing more aggressive. Not to say violet didnt use moira well or to her maximum capacity, but a lot of it came due to the fact that for a good portion of the game he was solo healing while his tanks positioning was better than the opponents'.
It all comes down to teamplay, if the teamplay gets better, moira gets more dangerous.

I constantly get called a smurf as Moira, maybe because I move around like a maniac while healing more than anyone else in the game and also getting the most kills. It's all about awareness and knowing when you can chase someone and ruin the enemy teams spawn times. (Spam AWSD & Spacebar constantly lol)

@Lavesh Bhatia oh ok man I gotcha. I just couldn’t imagine that a Moira main wouldn’t know that. Haha no disrespect. Another tip, besides the taping damage, is to jump right as fade ends so you carry some of that speed and go a little farther.
