i only have one problem with the BB setup - unless i want to totally gimp the DoY damage i cannot get her to shoot faster than the NJ. She is about 0.9 seconds slower in battle due to NJ getting the reload buff from Helena
You need to consider the autoloader and/or HPFCR. With DoY running 457 and FDG/NJ (High reload/reload buffed) running champagne guns, DoY don't need autoloader. However, if DoY is running something like Monarch gun, then the FP sacrifice is necessary to make her fire fast enough.
Core issue is that DoY is released a while ago, when top-tier BB's don't have that high RLD stats. Gotta find ways to compensate for that. This is also something to worry about for Ark Royal, especially before her retro.
You do know that the High Performance Fire Control Radar reduces the cd of the first shelling by 15%, right? It makes it very easy to stagger BBs, just toss it on DoY and math it out a bit.

It is unforgivable that muse ships are superior to the PR ships we spend so much time to build. Plus you can't get them (except sheffield muse). My Haku and FDG wont be hitting dev 30 for a while. Haku is 22 and FDG is 20
It's an unfortunately truth that not all PR ships are top-tier even upon release, and very few would remain in top tier after prolonged power creeping. Izumo's never that good, and Nep got power crept HARD by the likes of Suzutsuki
No shinano, Haku or any pog carriers but a bunch of investment in battleships just to found out they aren't as good as carrier setups :( Waiting on the re-run for shinano and anyone good I missed.
Keep in mind that's mainly for auto's. Manual you can just run no SG radar on Helena, and hold the BB's for 1-2 seconds (if you have the faster firing guns) and hit all of them in the radar scan every time (and get the manual fire bonus)
Well, I won't say BB is not as good as CV (even on auto). Champagne gun still deal decent amount of damage and comparable with Georgia gun. Some even able to 1 shot meta boss on auto using champagne gun instead of Georgia gun (making the investment about the same with CV)
@@danielak1666 You’re right, they are pretty comparable though Cv setups are much more resource and time friendly. With Bb’s it can take a while to farm enough prints for enough champagne or georgia guns whereas cv’s dont require as much print farming in my opinion.
Experimented with CVs for a long time. I have Hakky and Shinyanners in my fleet, both do around 300k in META fights, but Enterprise still outdamages them even if all of them have +13 gear (Shinano and Hakky have 2 +13 Ryuuseis, Big E only has 1). Big E averages around 350k damage on the low side (missed activations) to around 500k when activations are on point. Also, you missed something that CV fleets have an advantage over BBs: they help your vanguard survive longer because of their enemy projectile clearing feature. Not that much with a single CV, but with 3 CVs activating for 3 times in a single META run, it adds up that much more.

Yea... Waiting for Haku to dev30 and no NJ, Shinano or 457... but started reinvesting in Akagi Kaga just cuz their timing works well on different bosses and they're so cheap to gear.. then hopefully when Haku dev30 and Shinano re-runs, I can transition smoothly.
No shinano, no howe, haku isnt dev 30, so my best setup for soryumet are surprisingly the italians + NJ. On good days my Aquila out dps my Veneto, getting like 200k+ or something, with WYVERNS. Which is wild. 😅 Obviously they cant do it in just 1 run but hey, it works. On average friend client i would get 750-980k which is ok i think.
I like to run a mixed setup since I'm rather new and still getting ships to 120 before I dive into getting my assorted fleet setups for both end game and opsi. but for now I usually run a 2 bb 1 cv setup or a 1bb and 2cv setup usually always with NJ and Enti, I'm working on fdg now and soon Hakuryuu. and eventually drake and Agir. I missed out on Run muse so I use reg roon along with Helena and San fransisco as my boss fleet i'll replace roon with Agir I once unlock her etc. also I haven't read anywhere stating that Shinano is gone for good, I'm pretty sure she'll get a rerun some time next year. I only heard colab events are the one time only events etc. so I still have hope of geting dreamy Fox girl sometime next year. but currently my mob and boss fleet is Odin/Ryuuhou/Agust Von - Azuma/yuudachi(sometimes London or San Diego) lastly as the off tank I run Saint louis. and for my Boss setup I run NJ/Enti/Essex - Roon/Helena/San Fransisco. eventually I'll have multipul setup once more reruns com around but thats my investment so far. Waifu over meta mostly lol.
i've been wondering if say i was farming for a pr ship (neptune) but a ship is level capped at lvl90 (dido) does exp still go to pr grind as i says no exp given on the mvp screen

10% buff verseus Helena's 40%. If Helena scans even atleast once (specifically the beginning) then it's already better than Helena META. Even the scans that don't line up with the volleys still benefits the frontline damage dealers Roon & Agir or whoever you use.
Wait till you grind W14. It's true that NJ has MASSIVE single-target dmg (10-30% better than FDG, the latter is ~40% better than the rest), however, W14 proves that FDG still has her solid place as the best mobbing flagship. Not necessary, but FDG helps out a LOT, and in ways NJ can't

nope its not a mistake since triple 406 MK7 is the best in slot HE gun in the game atm but the problem is bosses and end game chapters offers Medium to Heavy armor which HE gun has a disadvantage to heavy armors

most propably this year. they announced a 2nd UR gatcha this year after shimakaze. They didn't say if its a new ship or a rerun but the community assumed its much more likely to be a rerun then a new UR.

You don't need the best-in-slot fleet if you're a new player, there are so many good options easier to get. Ark Royal, Enterprise, Essex, Independence, Shoukaku, and Zuikaku are all strong viable options. Hell, if I was a new player starting today, I'd just build an Enterprise, Independence, Saratoga, Helena fleet asap and start looking for Ark Royal to replace Saratoga.

Since Prototype shop has Prototype Twin 457mm BB Gun now. Do you recommend getting a 3rd one of it? Or 2 copy is just enough?
2 for comfort, 3 if you want to commit a lot of resources into BB gameplay.

It's that and Ace Pilot talent gives 8 reload which is about 0.8 seconds shaved off of air strikes, I have ace pilot on both my cats.

For bossing, ark Royal with focus torpedo is better. If you didn't have any focus torpedo plane, Essex is slightly better
Ark Royal, and make sure her airstrike launches earlier than Enterprise because her slow debuff will help Enterprise hitting her bombs as well.
