- It was a second day of MPs taking oath as members of the 18th Lok Sabha and there were a fair few controversial moments. AIMIM Chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi ended his oath by chanting Jai Palestine. Congress' Rae Bareli MP Rahul Gandhi took oath while holding a copy of the constitution, and ended by saying 'Jai Samvidhan'. And BJP's Bareilly MP Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar chanted 'Jai Hindu Rashtra' after taking oath, which the opposition objected to.
