My opinion on the power with the 3.4TT. Toyota is know for reliability, so with that being said they are going to tune it down to focus on longevity vs how powerful they can make it. Ford and Dodge can have their pissing contest with who has the fastest truck. The Toyota does what it needs to do and I strongly believe they nailed it again.
Traded my 20 Trd Pro for a new 2023 1794 & it’s an absolute treat to drive!! The effortless power, comfort and tons of new features, makes it a perfect truck!!
Interesting. My 22 1794 got a nice 19 to 20 MPG over 2 600 mile trips with 4 passengers and ~400 lbs of cargo with 3 different drivers. Some of that trip was over 2,800 ft in elevation.
Proportionally it looks damn nice. All 6.5' bed pickup trucks looks damn nice. People are too stuck on bunny rabbit 5.5' beds, IMO, are disproportionate and ugly.
Great video. Will definitely watch more. I'd have to disagree about the long bed hah. I love the 6.5" bed even though I hardly use it. I swear for whatever reason if I have the 5.5" and I need to load something, it's always a couple inches short (story of my life).😆
As someone who has been following the new Tundra please look at the payload numbers if you buy. Seems lower on all trim levels than other half tons (unsure what you will be hauling) and the SR base model engine is detuned power wise with lower HP/Torque output. Just my 2 cents
Sorry the backlite grill idea sucks, not a fan of Hyundai light structure. I would disagree too with the drive train, hybrid would be the way to go, more power and torque. I would also check the gas you put into the truck. Other channels have gotten higher mpgs.
Sounds like you had to settle for less and live with it. For this kind of money, this $70,000 truck should check off every box on your list. And it should not have to grow on you as many new Tundra owners are saying. I’m keeping my 2016 Tundra Limited until Toyota Corp gets the Gen 3 right.🤨

It is a thing of beauty.
Toyota number one in reliability.
You’re still involved in this 😂 can’t wait to get my 23 1794 GOD is good
Excellent review, guys!👏👏👏
nice truck. I do construction and this is way too nice for me. I do like the long bed though.
I love the 1794 but can't afford it so I bought the limited and mods it t he way I wanted. thanks for sharing
I love this color and miss my Toyota. Great review. 😊
Considered this. Staying with my Ram.

To me an 8ft Box is the Long Box.🤔
I have my trd pro at almost 10k in mileage now its the hybrid and getting on highway 22 to 24 mpg city about 17
Toyota owns the patent on the rear window sliding all the way down. They are the only ones that can do that
Love the 1794 trim level what do you guys think of the 6 1/2 foot bed for construction. started up the business and looking into this truck.

I wonder if installing a tonneau cover over the bed would improve MPG.
3.4 liter, huh?? Interesting.
1794 or capstone? 🤔
1794 has multiple pairs of options rather than sticking with one as standard on the capstone. For instance, 6.5 or 5.5 vs just 5.5 bed on capstone
The Old Tundra with V8 should have been offered with a Ten Speed Tranny in 2021 to compare with V6 twin turbo ten speed.🤔
