Hello again, There’s very little info on the internet about what the Don Mare 54 actually is. Do you have any insight about them? Materials, resistance etc. is it trying to copy the original 54 tele pickup or is there something else going on? Thanks for your help.
There used to be information on Don Mare's website, but it seems to have been removed now. I will look. The interesting thing is that once my other Don Mare pickup was damaged and was rewound by another luthier. Wow, it sounded completely different...

The fenders def hung really close with em. Lollars could def hang right with Dons
