Wish they'd take another shot at this in 2023. Chino has his off days, but this is like OFF off, worse than usual. I think he could probably do much better now, as he killed the Marc Jacobs show in February of this year. Not only that, but it kinda sounds like the sound engineer fell asleep and smacked the delay dial all the way up. I don't think I've ever seen it be this bad before. I think if they tried this again, with a fresh, non-tour Chino, and better delay settings, this could be gorgeous.
That's because of few reasons. First of all, non academical sound extraction is really hard to replicate consistently, especially if you utilise another forms of singing or some separate voicings like Chino does. It sounds interesting, but he sings his same song each time differently. Secondly, studio recordings go through post production process of adjusting song scale, clearing up tonality of certain notes singer produced in the recording. That's why studio recording sounds "cleaner"
