Climbing Orlovets peak in Rila Mountain / Изкачване на връх Орловец, Рила

Climbing the Orlovets peak (2685 m) in Rila Mountain, Bulgaria in a nice and warm day in the summer of 2017. For me this is the most beautiful part of the highest mountain in Bulgaria - Rila. The highest and most famous peak in the area is Malyovitsa (2729 m). But this day we decide to miss it and climb the Orlovets peak, which is very close to Malyovitsa. It was not the easiest hike, but it was nice and the views from above were amazing. Of course, the weather was also good for hiking. After the climb of Orlovets, we had some time and decide also to climb on the Lovnitsa peak, which is a bit higher than Orlovets - 2695 m, but eaiser for climb. The only peak in the area, that we still have not climbed yet is Zliyat zab (in English - The evil tooth). The name comes from it's shape - it looks like a tooth. But it's evil, because there are many fatal cases of climbers, while they have tried to climb it. You can see Zliyat zab several times in the video. It is very difficult to climb on it without a special gear for alpinism, that unfortunately we do not have.

Изкачване на връх Орловец, в Мальовишкия дял на Рила. Върхът е висок 2685 м и не е от най-лесните за покоряване, но и не представлява нещо особено за един добре подготвен планинар. Гледките от него са зашеметяващи, както може и да се убедите от видеото. След изкачването до Орловец, подходихме към Злият зъб, но както и предполагахме, изкачването му без алпийски пособия е много трудно и решихме да не рискуваме. Тъй като имахме още време, решихме да се разходим и до вр. Ловница, откъдето също се откриват страхотни гледки - към Злия зъб, Орловец, Мальовица и Камилата на изток и Йончево езеро и връх Голям купен на запад.
