He’s banged up and a rookie so it’s gonna take some time but I feel like he’s gonna be the next Von miller but prime Von not what we’ve seen at the bills
He’s mostly a blitz back, putting on good weight and learning the run fits will take time. Couple that with some Flores vets who are playing out of their minds, and you get mostly NASCAR package snaps. He’ll get his when he’s ready.
By all means I’m okay with players needing time and he is coming off a knee injury which I do t think was too serious. There was just a lot of hype around him coming out of training camp where I was wrongfully expected more
A couple things in addition about the offense that make me happy: Darnold completed passes to nine different players without Hokkenson in the lineup and they seem to be doing better on screen passes so far this year. I’d like to see improvement in short yardage runs but this might be the most potent offense they’ve had in a while
Andy, I'm glad you mentioned Justin's blocking. He has always been willing to block and has been good at it, but this year it really seems to stand out. When you talk about leading by example, there is the highest paid non-QB in the league sticking his nose in there and getting his hat on a hat and not backing down with his blocking. Says a lot about him as a leader of men on this team. Oh, yeah, and he IS the best receiver in the game, hands down... SKOL!
This team is very solid up and down the roster. We have great coaches and play good situational football. The one area we are still deficient is short yardage rushing. We need a big RB who can bang out that 1 or 2 yards when we need it. Ham isn't really that guy anymore. All three of our RBs are under 210lbs. KOC/KAM should be scouring the practice squads to find a bruiser.
I would have ran the ball on 2nd and 1 from the GB 20 in the 3rd quarter. Jones got 9 yards the previous play. A potential fresh set of downs with a FG in your back pocket is better than an INT.
I’m curious on Dallas Turners development. If I recall I only saw him on a handful of snaps. Mostly on blitzing packages.
At least some of that has to be a pitch count from the injury. Also Pat Jones decided to eat his Wheaties this off season
Yep he’s too small for run defense

I’m pretty sure CJ Ham or Oliver could get a yard running. KOC usually messes up when he gets too cute with the short run calls.
Maybe Oliver leading C.J. in I form up the middle could've packed enough on that 4th&1? Kinda plain but with a BAM I think?

Best 4-0 team in history SKOL

The short yard game has been lacking for a few years. We need a jumbo package with a large body OLineman leading the way .
What's wild to me is that we are one of the few teams with a true fullback and aren't just using him on a dive ever
4th and 1
Quessenberry at fullback and run the Fkn ball! Dive play!

Great time for adversity and not getting cocky or complacent, Vikes are 4-0 and are relatively healthy with Hock coming back
When was last time the Vikings won the game after their bye week?
We better Dog Walk the Jets. 38-10 type ish. SKOL4LIFE
