Imagine how cool it would have been if they had replaced Lockdown in the scenes before he captured Optimus with Galvatron. You go half way through the film thinking that the person hunting the autobots it Galvatron then suddenly in the middle of the highway fight someone shoots and defeats Optimus, Galvatron gets pulled back and then Lockdown emerges through the smoke with this music and his ship behind it. He was a very intimidating villain that didn't have any real allegiance. I wish he had remained in the series.

@@Medgator Not really. Prime was killed then brought back by the Matrix. Lockdown's spark was probably cut in half, so he's definitely gone. Megatron was revived in RotF by the Allspark and in AoE, his mind survived.
They could bring him back using transformium. They could have done a hole movie using transformium and bring back fan favorite characters form G1 and the films.

3:00 - This theme proves Lockdown is the best character of the entire series, hands down! Such a shame they did not do much with him in the movie and k*lled him off, he would have been an awesome villain over the series of films, maybe even more-so than Megatron.

Maybe Lockdown sheds some light on his past, like how he used to be a slave or something. That the knights of Cybertron ignored him and the other slaves or something. This would explain why he hates and doesn't mind imprisoning other transformers. I don't know, but this would show that he didn't mind working for the creators, as long as they paid him. In the end, he got killed. This theme is excellent though.
Anyone else think it'd be interesting to put Lockdown in a kind of Thanos like way? He's a bounty hunter who keeps things non personal but he does also have the goal of hunting other cybertronians as he sees the wars they have on planets other than cybertron so he feels by putting them in their place that they don't harm planets that arw minding their own buisness despite how little he cares about those planets

Yeah, that's why I stuck with "creators" instead because there's also a chance that Bay could make up something entirely different. What I'm really hoping for, is an Transformers movie set in space, especially after Lockdown said "You all think you're the center of the universe, *you have no idea* " and seeing the other alien prisoners on Lockdown's ship got me even more curious about everything that exists beyond Earth.

Ok to be honest the Transformer films aren't even that bad. Shitty story and acting aside the action and the scale of everything is awesome. The sounds are soo iconic. I recommend the franchise to anyone who hasn't seen them. Transformers Franchise: 7.5/10
