BG3 Act 2: Saving Isobel in the Last Light Inn

Tutorial on how to save Isobel, cleric of Selûne in Baldur's Gate 3 because a lot of people struggle with this battle. It's very easy to lose this battle because the flying ghouls swarm Isobel. The trick is to turn Isobel invisible with either a thrown potion or a scroll, and to get rid of Marcus asap. Haste is very helpful when it comes to whittling down Marcus quickly, make sure to cast it on your DPS (although I managed fine without it). Spirit Guardians helps deal with the flying ghouls.

My character is unconventionally attractive at best, being a Zariel tiefling is hard! Wish we had nose sliders. But I'd be lying if I said that her alien bug face didn't grow on me over the 170 hours I have been playing as her... :) She has a face only a mother could love, and I am her mother!

The part where Jaheira transformed with the music was so epic, I got chills.
Also RIP gale casting haste, then running right into range and losing it

I know... I should have double-checked the attack of opportunity range. I died a little on the inside when that happened.

Well played! Judging by the amount of HP you and your party has, it's done on balanced or tactician mode, right?

I'm playing on balanced. I heard the latest update made this fight a lot easier by improving Isobel's AI though! So I suppose this is the "old" fight.

@@TheMiejoe Okay, thnx a lot. I'm not an avid D&D player, and wanted to see what I could expect first, so I'm currently playing on Explorer mode. The fight took me (quite literally as well) by surprise and ended up losing Isolde. So I didn't finish it, but reverted back to a save before it happened. This time I'll be more up to the task for it after seeing your vid. :)

@@metalfyregaming2468 Good luck, glad I could help! My friend had to redo this fight at least five times; it's really challenging and the consequences are dire if you fail... In hindsight I made a few mistakes here such as the attack of opportunity, but I did way better here than on my first try. May Tymora bless your rolls!

I’m stuck here. Each time is over gets captured by Marcus and after fighting the winged horrors I immediately have to fight the whole town of zombies before even healing or resting. Don’t know what to do

Make Isobel invisible! And focus down Marcus.
