I think she s mixed the concepts of Soulmate and Twin Flame. As per my understanding, Twin Flames can't be platonic and only partners can be twin flames because of the strong sexual pull. Soul mates however can be friends, parent-child, siblings etc.

I don't agree twinflames cannot be gender specific its true but father -son or mother -daughter duo they can be your soulmates.
