I have to be honest here, when you first started using the watercolors as stamping media in this video, I thought there was no way it would look good. I should've known better after watching all your videos that nothing you put your hand to would turn out bad. As always, I love the softness of the finished result and think it's beautiful, Sandy!

I found this explanation in google... thick, waxy coating keeps the water inside the cactus from evaporating. ... Instead of leaves, most cacti have spines or scales (which are modified leaves). These spines and scales do not lose water through evaporation (unlike regular leaves, which lose a lot of water).

What white gel pen are you using? I did read through the supplies section and haven’t seen it. I’ve not been happy with the white gel pens I have. Yours seems thicker and seems to roll more smoothly on your watercolor.
I use UniBall Signo white pens.
Why didn't you gesso? If you did you should maybe let us know
I never do if you watch all my Bible journaling videos. I hate how it makes the paper feel.
