Watch 'Ocean Stories' here: • Ocean Stories | Full S...
Albatrosses and Rockhopper penguins share the same land during a short Summer. Yet, two different destinies await their offspring.
Here is another touching story about Life. It is the mating season on the Falkland Islands. On this small patch of land in the South Atlantic, different species are racing against time in order to give birth and breed their chicks or cubs. Although they are a few centimeters apart and they are both birds, albatrosses, and penguins do not share the same destiny: the former are the princes of the sky whereas the latter are great swimmers.

I like this documentary, however the narrators rocky syllables breaks the immersion for me, I wonder if the narration speed was slowed down a hair, if it would flow a little more naturally? Either way thanks for the video!

Your editor was asleep at the reel. At 4:58 the narrator mistakenly claims that unlike penguins that are able to fly to the peak, Rockhoppers have lost the ability to fly ".

*The Furious Fifties is an area of the wild South Atlantic characterized by some of the strongest and most sustained winds in the world. During the summer months, this region experiences a unique blend of stunning natural beauty and extreme weather conditions. The Southern Ocean is home to a diverse array of marine life, including whales, seals, and penguins, which all thrive in this harsh environment. For those brave enough to venture into the Furious Fifties, there are opportunities to witness these magnificent creatures up close and explore the breathtaking landscapes of this remote corner of the globe.*

Absolutely 💯 % agree. If the channel can't be bothered to narrate their videos with a human voice, I'm out also. I did laugh when the male penguin questions whether this female is the one he had a chick with or another female 🤣 Great video, an awful shame about the voice and the mistakes made.

Porqué TH-cam desactivó la traducción automática de los subtítulos? En ningún idioma traduce, solo en inglés aparecen los subtítulos. Que lástima porque los que no conocen ese idioma ya no vamos a ver sus publicaciones.

Great, subject matter. I love hearing stories about the Falkland animals, but this documentary moves to slow, music is annoying. AF, this narration was putting me to sleep... also How can I trust a documentary that doesn't have very basic facts correct? I shouldn't be giving a doc about the Falklands' beautiful animals a D+ grade!
