Sajan Shrestha, a Kathmandu-based TH-camr, and stand-up comedian, who is associated with a TV reality comedy show, Wai Wai Dynamite Comedy Club with Champions on NTV. And, Apoorwa Kshitiz Singh, a chartered accountant, and stand-up comedian is a Senior Financial Analyst at Pathao Nepal and hosts the TH-cam show "Bishesh Tippani”. In this episode of On Air, we discuss Nepal's comedy scene, Big Boss, pirated movies, blind dates, addiction & rehab, and their way of comedy.

Apoorva is logical comedian, Zimba is natural comedian, Sajan is funny and his laugh is enough. Most importantly they all are youth and I can relate to their say.
If you want simple life one profession is enough. But if you are looking more from life TWO job or TWO profession or TWO career is required. This is 21st century world problem not only Nepal’s. let’s all be positive. It is what it is. Train to cope and move forward.

i grewup watching "tito satya" and 'jire khursani". the most popular stars in nepal have based their carrier through comedy. there has always been space for comedy in entertainment industry of nepal, however, due to increasing globalization the era has changed into something different for the artists. there is still space for comedy in nepal, they just have to look for it differently. i really hope these new comedians will find a way to create demand for it like how it was 15 years back in nepal. best wishes

Totally agree with Apoorva Dai. We lack the place to perform. India has Tuning Fork, Habitat, CLC, etc. Hamro ma cafe haruko stage ko nam sano platform hunxa jasma basera guitar matra bajauna painxa... 1Hr special nikalnai garo, different genre of comedy try garnai sakirako xainau and so on.

skill, intelligence ,passion ,profession and financial knowledge. these are all different part and but these all needs to move together holding each other hand. we are all genius but in my guess it lack vision and financial knowledge. old age is scary without money and it is creating confusion weather to choose passion or profession for financial stability. at least financial managing and skill must stick together to focus on your goal . yeah even if my carrier took long journey to succeed i still have backup for my financial fear.

Overall PODCAST sunda Hamro teen jana stand-up comedian le k main kura k bujhna prxa vane "standup comedy" ko scene lai ali florish garauna xa vane you have to research over your audience and all those algorithm regarding this platform..!!!
You all know nepalese people still are diverse audience. This scenario florish just because of some urban audience who are active over YT.
And never compare music platform over standup comedy scene. They both are just way more different genre if you really compare why people choose to attend concert and gigs over standup comedy.
As long as there are comedians who really work over their own community or any club cooperatively...its still long way for any young comedian artist or senior artist to get that sucessful venture over COMEDY scene..
But still..hatss off to all artist..I am huge fan of standup comedy of national and international artist...I am longing for this platform to florish nationwide...
It take a lot of time though..best of luck 🤝🏼

What these guys need to understand is they got popular because of on going trending of stand up comedy at that time and also because of social media or say internet … there are so many successful comedians who have spend their whole life who manage to succeed and survive, where as bunch of them disappeared too.. it is what it is, same goes with musicians too. How many of those musician you guys see still relevant in todays day… it’s time.. gotta change with time..
